Highly Recommend ☺ This was my second time staying at this hotel, very comfortable and laid- back atmosphere wonderful, warm, and welcoming hospitality, staff friendly and accommodating all areas of the hotel impeccably clean. You immediately relax as you enter the Lobby and breathe in the fresh clean scent and feel the cool and efficient air- conditioner which was a refreshing break from the Caribbean heat outside. Rooms very large and spacious, free wifi great internet connection, lots of hot water in bathrooms, delicious Caribbean breakfast served in a beautiful setti g by the pool. I had a fantastic stay at the Altamont Court Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica. The location was convenient, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I particularly enjoyed the delicious Jamaican cuisine at the on-site restaurant. Overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kingston.

Enjoyed my stay at Altamont Court on a recent quick trip to Kingston. Central location was close to all the places I had to go to. Clean, well appointed upgraded room. Nice pool. Breakfast...excellent...Jamaican favourites both days. And the people: Front desk, restaurant staff...everybody was friendly and professional. This will be my go-to home in Kingston

Stayed one night when passing through Kingston in June 2022 and have stayed several times in the past for similar reasons. The staff members were very friendly and pretty efficient. The room and bed were comfortable and cleanliness is good. The building and facilities are in good condition, with a few minor maintenance needs here and there.

From the moment of making our reservation, this hotel was very accommodative. Provided extra information on the Jamaica Carnival - thank you Farah! Monique was very professional in chec king us in. The ladies in the Housekeeping Department were very great & attentive to our needs. Paulette went above & beyond to ensure we had all we needed for a great trip! Kudos to all! Hello This was my worst experience having gone to a hotel in Jamaica. I had only checked in at this hotel for a night this was on the 11th march of this year. I went to the restaurant to get breakfast after ordering a waitress by the name latifa and a trainee was there these were one of the nicest people at the hotel. Upon getting my bill this lady came out of the office ask the girls to print the bill they did she then took the bill from them brought it to me I paid she then asked me where is her tip (I think her name was Sheree supervisor on shift that morning) what kind of service it this the hotel is offering that the workers are asking guess for tips I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here if this is how the staff/ supervisors operate. I am writing to address the review you posted regarding your recent stay at Altamont Court Hotel. As the manager I take every review seriously and appreciate feedback, both positive and negative. After conducting an investigation into your experience, we have found some discrepancies in your review. Firstly, Latifa was not present on the day of your stay, so it is impossible for her to have served you breakfast. Additionally, the supervisor you mentioned, Sheree, was not on duty on that day and did not work a shift as you described. We checked to see if perhaps you had the dates wrong, and again saw where even if this was so, she was on leave for the similar dates in March. Furthermore, our restaurant supervisor would never approach a guest to request a tip in the manner you described. This behavior is not in line with our hotel's standards, and we take it very seriously. We are currently conducting further investigations to identify any staff member who may have acted inappropriately. We find your review to be mischievous, and we cannot recommend that it should be believed. Our staff is highly trained to offer exceptional service, and we pride ourselves on our high standards of customer service. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I stayed their for 5 days and all 5 days were awesome. On this trip I asked for a updated room and I got one, which I was in love with. The room was very big, big bed, clean, every single staff was friendly to me and very helpful. I will be going back soon.

Great location in the midst of New Kingston, easy walk or drive to multiple restaurants, businesses, and attractions. The staff were very warm, friendly and attentive, from check-in to check-out. The free Jamaican breakfast was authentic, and it was relaxing to dine by the pool in the cool outdoors with the trees all around. The room was clean and comfortable, not the fanciest, but quite well maintained. It was a short stay but well worth it, and the cost is very reasonable, especially considering breakfast is included.
