Friendly staff, w lcome drink and above all : quiet, clean and ideally located.
Breakfast is excellent - though the "brunch part could be improv d with a slight change every day, by the end of the week it becomes too much repetitive.
Anyway, this is the place we will come again.

It was our first time in Guadeloupe but we hope to be back one day. Our stay at Amaudo for 10 nights was everything we hoped for: a warm welcome, amazing view, comfortable and clean room (all rooms have the pool view), the breakfast was delicious and the dinners, served on demand

Our room was comfortable and private with a small patio area overlooking the pool. The staff was helpful (in English) in providing us a late snack on the night of our arrival, and sightseeing tips for our 3 day visit. Breakfast was always delicious and the view, paradise!

Our husbands with be meeting a fishing guide at baie mahault ( destrelland). Is it far from your hotel?
Hello, My girlfriend and I traveled all over Guadeloupe when we were there (circled the island more than a few times). Destrelland is around a 45 minute drive away (timing could increase due to traffic, which will depend on when he plans to leave from Hotel Amaudo) Hope this helps. -Michael

Hi, Harriet. What would you like to know about this accommodation? Is breakfast included at Hotel Amaudo? How far is it to nice beaches?
fruit, coffee, pastries, eggs and juice provided daily in the morning on the terrace overlooking the sea. We rented a car and drove between 15 minutes and an hour to the beaches only on the right side of the island. We loved ALL the beaches, snorkeled and swam... We were unable to get aboard a boat tho, because we did not reserve that in advance and were only there 3 whole days in January.

Hi, how far is the beach? Is there hurricane damage to the hotel?
Hi Anushka, There is a small beach (more like a cove) down a steep path at the foot of the hill below the hotel. Pretty slippery path, so be careful; or you may take the main road. For a much better beach experience, take a five minute drive to the St. Francois beach, or a 10/12 minute drive to the St. Anne beach. As a side note, you should definitely go to the Marche Nocturne (night market) at the center of St. Francois. Great fruits, veggies, and local cuisine. Have a great trip.
