I stayed at the Grand View for over a month. I managed to beat down the price to 500 US for a month. This hotel caters mainly to long term guests, many of whom are students at the St. Georges University. The View was GRAND but the hotel has many problems. The maid service was dodgy. At one point it...

First of all, we didn't even stay there. We checked in at 11 a.m. and checked out at 2 p.m. after securing better accommodations elsewhere. I'd read the reviews that weren't exactly positive, but was sold on their pretty enticing website. The view is in fact fantastic, but that's where all similarities to the website ends. The place is a...

This could be a very nice place to stay. The views and the staff are wonderful; and if you don't mind a somewhat noisy environment where you are staying, it is a quite nice hotel. However, if almost around the clock noise bothers you, you should probably stay somewhere else, unless you have no other choices, or you happened to...

This hotel was a little run down. The bathroom especially left little to be desired. The best part of the hotel was the beach it overlooked, fantastic and although on a hill it was a short walk away.

Grand View….where should I start…I stayed at the hotel with a group of 42 from August 13th to 20th 2006. On arrival we were processed and got our room keys. Only to discover that there was no electricity on our block. The electricity was on and off every 10 minutes for the first four days. It seems that the hotel...

I had an awsome time. The owners were great - really firendly! The room was spacious and clean, and the restaurant was really good.

The Hotel is nice and is now part way open after the hurricane. The problem is there is a bar downstairs and has loud music till 1:00AM. So if you want a quite relaxing place, this is not it.

I have stayed at this resort 2 times, and both times I had great trip. The hotel is not a fancy resort, but you definitly get your money's worth. It has a great location - the beach is 5 minute walk (if that), and the town of St. George's is about a 5-10 minute drive. I would go back again.

shabby, dated ,in need of repair.-that about sums the whole site up.The pool was unusable at times, there was major building work going on 7 days a week, all day long.staff were amenable, but most had little foresight, basically bad management. It seems to be the general way of thinking in Grenada,"fix it if it breaks, but dont bother to prevent it breaking"!!!Watch out Grand View, you cannot...

“I would recommend a West facing balcony because those sunsets are intoxicating! Watched every one that I could and found myself trying to alter our plans to make sure we were back in time so I could see it.”
  • View of Mourne Rouge beach from our room.
  • Never got tired of looking watching those sunsets!

“Requesting a room on the left, you may get a nice view of the famous Grand Anse Beach. Getting a room on the right gives you a view of Mourne Rouge Beach and the pretty sunsets. Only 2 floors. It can get loud when it rains as the water hits the roof if you get a top floor room. Should be no more than $35EC ($13-$14USD) from the airport to Grand View Inn in a taxi. Try to arrange your own transportation with the many taxi drivers available rather than ask Grand View Inn to call as it will be cheaper and in a more comfortable vehicle.”
