I would've rated it a 5 star if I had gone diamond from the start! We were there May 16th to the 19th just to be away for my birthday. Arrived at noon, went to the buffet, ( the food at the buffet is average, and is not air conditioned) people at this buffet were very nice to my family, my boy was uncomfortable and they work with us to get him a fresh wet towel and milk that he would like. It was very well appreciated, kudos to all of you at the buffet! We ate, had a couple of beers and coffee at the lobby bar while waiting, Rosa great drinks and service you are awsome! It was 3:00 P.M. and my room wasn't ready. My agent at Jetblue made sure to let them know I was arriving early and also ask to consider giving me a first floor bedroom since I was traveling with my wife and kids (2 years old boy, 5 years old girl and 14 years old girl) We were getting frustrated and I went the Diamond Club, from then and there it was a different story. Odili the manager at Diamond Club ( My saving angel, can't thank you enough) saw my frustration and started working with us, she got fresh wet towels for us and a room withing 10 minutes. My room 25307 was nice, one king bed and a bunk bed for the kids in a separate room, not fancy but except for being a third floor it was perfect for us. ( Tip: It is a lot cheaper to book Diamond Club rooms from day one rather than upgrading when you get there ) My butler Jorge was 10 stars! From the moment he was assigned to us, he was constantly contacting me, making sure we made the best out of our time over there. I've been to many resorts in my life and never had a butler before. This is such a great add on; I wish Jorge was my butler for my next visit even though I know you will probably be a manager soon. Kudos to you man! ( Tip: Make a list of everything you want from dinner, to massages, {we did the hydrotherapy and it was great} to what kind of areas you like or any special need. This butlers are great at making things happen) Bartenders at the Diamond Club pool are very good, thanks for my piña coladas! ( Go to Cancun and show them how is done ) We had too many nice drinks there, we forgot to text Jorge for dinner reservations. Again, he work with the manager at Jade to give me a space there eventhow it was after hours of reservations. We ate at Jade the first night wich is a seafood restaurant at the other Hotel, I was craving lobster; for my disappointment is beda time the Dominican Republic and they can't catch lobster 😩 ( I understand the situation, but I think the restaurant should make a note on the menu so you think of options before you ordered ) Mairení was my waiter there. 5 Star waiter, he offered great options that we enjoyed a lot! The food was so delicious that we ended eating my daughter's chicken. Mairenì thanks a ton for your service and for been so good to my kids! Second day I went for coffee at the lobby ( Rosa thanks again) We had breakfast at the buffet at Royalton, there is a better selection of food than the one in the splash, but the one in the splash has better desert. Service is very good at both! The water park is a plus, my kids loved it! I read a lot reviews about slips and falls and I noticed it was as normal as the ones in the water parks in the United States, mostly because of kids running too fast. There's no way of controlling them! They have plenty of signs; to me it was a safe environment! ( Tip: Bring plenty of sunscreen, and be careful with the sun between noon and 2:00 PM, my son had sunburn) We had dinner at Bella Cuisine, the food there was average! Diosi was my waitress there, very good service! Thanks a lot for my little birthday celebration that was very kind! Third day we went to the beach at the Diamond Club side! Janeiri was my waitress there, you are nothing less than the best of the best. I don't know how you can handle that kind of work and still be able to smile and deliver great service. Working on 95 degrees weather, in a uniform with leggings; God bless you girl! My family appreciates you a ton! Bartenders: Eusebio at the Minibar, Jose, Julio and Carlos the Supervisor @ the Martini Bar 👏 thanks for the good attitude! Third night we had dinner at the Hunter, yummy! I'm a steak kind of guy and for me it was like saving the best for last! Joan my waiter was top notch, this guy is awesome! Joan and my wife made this last night memorable as the food was great and the crew sang Happy Birthday! Thanks a lot guys! The maintenance personnel are very good! My cleaning ladies, Ana and Marta I don't have a word for them, can't put too much kindness in one word, always asking of anything extra I could need for my kids and leaving my room spotless. Love you girls a ton! The mini fridge, I read a lot of complains in previous reviews about not being restocked every day. It comes with a couple of bottles of water, soda cans and beer. It was restocked the days I was there; one mis the second day, because I told the guy to give me local beer, instead he left me Coors Light, I think his intentions were to deliver the best since imported beer is a lot more expensive in the Dominican Republic. Tip: (If you need plenty of water, or beer, or soda; tell your butler what you need from the start, they will deliver a case of water if you need it! I needed fresh milk for my boy and I had it fast! This guys are good at making things happen. If you bring toddlers make sure to bring a stroller, we had to keep up with my boy wherever we went, it was a lot of work. Transportation from one hotel to the other was every 10 to 15 minutes except for 12:30 Note for the hotel: If you can maybe have strollers for use or rent for those like me who forget everything! If I will come back? Definitely! But this time around Diamond Club from the start. I don't know if it's worth going regular. My 14 years old girl wants to come back for her birthday in March! Outstanding hotel with lovely, welcoming staff who completely made our holiday. Loads of space around the pools with loungers available through the day. Lovely spacious rooms with comfortable beds, good showers, mini bar, working safe and balcony. Immaculate hotel and grounds with reduced capacity in restaurants and face coverings worn by all staff and guests when inside. Complex is big and joined to the Royalton Punta Cana - all lovely to walk around though there is a frequent shuttle (open sided small train so now covid concern there). We managed to get in our 10000 steps every day just wondering around with the kids and walking on the beach so easy to stay active if that’s your thing (we also used the gym), or just kick back and relax if you rather! Restaurant wise there are a number that you can use whilst staying at splash - our favourite was the Italian over at Royalton right next to the beach - buffet at lunch and al a carte dinner. Mexican (splash) has a good atmosphere - tasty food but small portions. We didn’t like the food so much at the Italian at Splash but it’s a nice place to sit. Tip - Beans at Splash does ice cream! We thought only scoops at Royalton did until our last day! Both are great for grabbing a coffee and cake if you prefer for breakfast or a much needed snack after swimming. The buffet restaurant has a great selection of tasty food, is spacious so not too crowded or noisy and again the staff were all great. The pools are fantastic, huge and well kept. No lifeguard if that’s important to you but tons of staff on hand. The water park is amazing - our kids are 11 and 15 and plenty to keep them occupied though the smaller kids area also looked fantastic, great family fun, also plenty of really good lifeguards here. The staff at both hotels are amazing - really helpful and friendly which we find makes a huge difference to a holiday. Some tips were given by us and others but not all, and we didn’t feel pressure to do so. One of our favourite parts of the hotel was the variation of seating and bar areas - we wondered around the resorts in the evening and sat at different places each time to take in the atmosphere, listen to live music or just relax - the bar up the stairs at Royalton and the main square are gorgeous places to sit and lovely to see so many people having a good time but we never felt uncomfortable with keeping distance due to covid. The beach is gorgeous, sea great for swimming in (strong undertow so be careful with children), never felt hassled by sellers on the beach and felt safe at all times. Fully recommend!…

Family had a wonderful time!! Kids absolutely loved the water park and the kids club. Thank you to all the staff in the kids club, the girls had lots of fun with the activities they did. Omar made our stay pleasant and enjoyable as much as possible. Thank you Omar!! Only disappointed was our room. Outside noises can easily be heard inside the room which made sleeping difficult. Thermostat in our room wasn't functioning correctly (couldn't adjust temp and it was stuck on 10c) so the air conditioning was on full and would have to manually shut it off once it chilled the room. Would also have to get up during the night to switch it on or off with comfort. Food was great. Do recommend being diamond club so you can utilize all the al carte restaurants, both buffets and the separate beach area!!…

Resort is clean and staff super friendly lots to do on the resort premises also have access to other resort activities. Check in could be better handled restaurants are great only thing Buffett building could use AC and food for lunch could be a lil better but over all great stay will definitely be back. My experience at Royalton Splash was amazing primarily because of the kind and hospitable service of Maximo, Pamela and Ruh at Bellini bar. I visited them on every night of my stay as they made me feel welcomed and relaxed and engaged me beyond the duty of call which was excellent!

This trip was the best one we’ve had so far.. staff is amazing, our butler Santos was exceptional, always responds within a minute, took care of everything all week, all we had to do enjoy ourselves in the water slides, beach, scheduled restaurants all week! Food was amazing, à la carte restaurants were great, all of them. And finally the shows, they were all superb and the entertainers Landy and Dali were simply amazing!!! I Recommend without hesitation this hotel, you will not be disappointed!!! **and for whoever writes bad reviews, you guys are simply just in bad faith and really regardless where you go you’re the type of people that will always complain regardless.. just unhappy people.. We have been to Royalton Bavarro in the past and the food and amenities were great. This time we visited the Royalton Splash, it was good for the splash pad and pools, but not quite the same for the food, so we used the other Royalton hotel for those amenities. Denis was our butler and was great as he booked all of our dinner reservations there at various restaurants. Denis was very accommodating and polite.

We had a fantastic stay at the Royalton Splash the first half of our trip and then the Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana, and had an amazing experience! Brendy made sure we had plenty of food and drinks on the beach each day, and our incredible butler Denis made sure we lacked for nothing- even checking in on us on his day off! He definitely went above and beyond, even being so kind as to help us check out of the one resort and into the other! (If you have the opportunity to upgrade to Diamond Club- DO IT! It's well worth the extra level of service, and gives you access to areas in the resort you wouldn't otherwise have had.) The girls at the front desk at the Hideaway also went above and beyond, helping arrange for a pharmacy to bring in medicine we needed so the we didn't have to leave the resort. I didn't catch their names, but all 3 that assisted us were amazing! Just about every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful! The server and cook at Zen Hibachi (Wilkin and Kelvin) served us twice, Both experiences were fun -and the food was delicious! The dive shop was great, as well, though the local dive site was a disappointment. The water park was awesome! Lots of slides to choose from! All in all, it was an amazing trip! A group of 11 were here April 29-May 6 We upgraded to Diamond and it was definitely worth it. Not only did we appreciate the Diamond Club check in but it comes with a butler. Ours was Manuel. He went beyond our expectations from booking all the restaurants we requested for each night to helping with the birthday surprise. He checked in with us to make sure we had everything we wanted and promptly dealt with things. He decorated the room as a surprise and arranged for a stunning cake for supper that night. He came back on his night off to ensure everything went as planned. Room was nice. Good and drinks were great. Staff were very friendly. Lots of entertainment if that is what you want to do. Water park was amazing! Manuel even checked on one guest after she was home as she had sprained her ankle the last day. Would definitely go back again and request Manuel as our butler…
