We typically avoid all inclusive resorts because the buffet food is usually mediocre and the noise level is too much for relaxation. The Riu Palace Macao, however, exceeded our expectation. From the great service we received (especially from Windy (or was it Wendy?), who was absolutely amazing), to the entertainment options, and the great food. This turned into one of...

Having gone to Riu Negril 3 times in the last 4 years, we decided to go to Punta Cana and chose the adults only Riu Palace Macao. This was our first Palace resort, and the service was amazing! Check in was super quick and easy, and the concierge came with us to bring our luggage and show us to our...

If you like the beach, all inclusive formula, excellent service and adult only .... don't hesitate and book your vacation here. The food is so good, the staff is very friendly, the two pools are great and the beach is amazing with a lot of space and shadow areas under the palmtrees. We booked a juniorsuite, very spacious with a...

This would be 5 star but staff let it down, when you at pool bar they ignore you and go to people who give them a dollar, when you pay £3,000 for 2 people a 2 week holiday you don't need be tipping every time you get a drink.. and go brochure the food place on el patio it shuts...

This is our first time staying at a Riu hotel which was recommended to us on a previous trip. We stayed March/April for 2 weeks and loved every minute as wanted a relaxing holiday. Our first time to an adults only hotel and met some lovely people. Rooms clean and adequate for purpose. We did look at a couple of...

First off I want to say that I loved the resort! The staff were extremely friendly, very willing to please and make your stay the best you have ever had. WI-FI would come and go at times but for the most part would have pretty good service. Thought the food was always exceptional. Tried all of the evening dinner venues,...

We travelled to the Riu Palace Macao with our great friends in April 2017 and stayed for 14 nights. Here is my honest review: Punta Cana Airport I am including information about the airport in my review because although this doesn't have any bearing on my review of the Riu Palace Macao I think future visitors need to be aware!...

The Riu Macao was better then I had anticipated. The idea of a all inclusive never really appealed to me, kind of like a stationary cruise ship. Well that was not the case, it was a ton of fun the beach was fantastic and the employees for the most part were accommodating and friendly. The food was not great but...

We stayed in one of the least expensive rooms and we were surprised at how clean and modern it was. The walk-in rain shower was lovely. The room was huge with a great layout. We would reccomend getting a room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The resort is small but connected to three other larger Riu resorts. The best...
