This is a huge resort, the hotel itself is small but most of the resort is made up of private villas, hundreds of them. So you wont see many people around. This is a place to go in a large group and relax in your villa, go to the beach and play golf, tennis, ride horses. The villa usually has...

Really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Campo. Our room was large and comfortable. I really enjoyed having our own golf cart to maneuver around this enormous property. It made getting around fun. The service was very attentive throughout the resort. The food at the Beach Club was great and going to Altos de Chavon was breathtakingly beautiful. On the...

I am here with my hubby for a week , complex is very big , golf paradise , 3 golf course , you have your own caddie to go round with you when you play golf ,you have your own electric golf buggie to get around , which you need to plug in every night ,restaurants are spread out there...

We rented a condo in the Casa De Campo resort in the Dominican Republic. I had a difficult time finding reviews of this resort so I am reviewing the resort under the hotel although we stayed at a private condo there but stopped by to see the hotel. I find this resort really caters to the rich and famous. Everything...

Not as fancy as it suggests. Safe didn't work, card key entry stopped working, lights out in the bathroom, to name a few things. On the expensive side. Restaurants are nothing special. Must get on your golf cart and visit some of the sites though, beautiful countryside.

We have visited twice for the seniors golf week, both times with friends. the GOOD.... the golf is outstanding with unlimited access to 4 great courses, 2 of which are spectacular, and a well run week of golf by the staff with good daily optional competitions and some classes. The food and drinks are also excellent but pricey if you...

My wife and I just got back from Casa de Campo. a perfect trip I never write reviews but this deserves my input. First let me say practically no mosquitoes the whole week I saw maybe three. Lots of security and all of the workers are scary friendly. takes a day or two to get used to it. I'm from...

Great spot for R&R. The resort is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. From the moment you arrive the smell of night blooming jasmine reminds you that you are on a tropical getaway. Explore the resort via your own personal golf cart. After enjoying Minitas Beach, Altos de Chavon and the Marina -go back and take a dip in...

As a group we went to DR for a much needed vacation and relaxation. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and the house we shared....beyond words beautiful, but it is not a resort for singles. Due to the size of our group we needed a space to accommodate at least 15 people so that put us out of the Punta...

I was part of a large group who spent 5 days golfing at this spectacular resort. The Dye course, La Romana and the famous Teeth of the Dog are incredible. While only the Teeth of the Dog requires a caddy I was so impressed by Gilbert I hired him for the final 3 rounds. These guys can read greens. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the most exclusive resort destination in the Caribbean - Casa de Campo - a stunning 7,000-acre hotel, resort, and residential community in La Romana on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic. Our tropical playground features a unique array of amenities, including a private beach, expansive marina, tennis and polo facilities, and three championship golf courses - including Pete Dye's masterpiece, Teeth of the Dog, number 1 in Caribbean and 52 in the world. And, if all this still isn't enough, Casa de Campo contains a full-size replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village and amphitheater, filled with art, history, and cute little European-style cafes. More than 20 restaurants and 15 bars and lounges at Casa de Campo offer a dizzying number of ways to unwind or enjoy meals. Feel like a kid again, driving your golf cart to move within the resort. You will have much more fun than anywhere else! But more than anything, Casa de Campo is a state of mind and a way of life rather than just a mark on the map. For new guests, we welcome you to experience our warm hospitality. And for those who have already experienced our incredible resort, we can't wait to welcome you back. Daily cleaning service, included in your room rate. Complimentary 4-passenger golf cart. Separate bathroom with glass-enclosed shower. Even a relaxing bathtub and private lavatory.
