Welcome to the most exclusive resort destination in the Caribbean—Casa de Campo Resort and Villas—a stunning 7,000-acre hotel, resort, and residential community in La Romana on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic.
Our tropical playground features a unique array of amenities, including an expansive marina, tennis courts, and polo facilities. Casa de Campo is also one of the most sought-after Dominican Republic golf resorts featuring three championship golf courses — including Pete Dye’s masterpiece, Teeth of the Dog, the #1 ranked course in the Caribbean and number 39 in the world.
For non-golfers Casa de Campo Resort & Villas was a great experience. Our room was an Elite Patio King and was very nice and spacious. The property is massive and beautiful, the food and service are excellent. Having a golf cart to get around the property is fun, but if you are looking for a resort where everything is close, this is not that. The travel times to dinner can be up to 15 minutes on the golf cart, and reservations were always required. This requires planning your day. We went with the All-Inclusive package, but where this differed from previous experiences is that each time you get drinks, or dine, you are required to submit a card and sign your charges to your room. None of this ended up on the bill at checkout, however, it made departing from dinner and the bar take longer. The beach bar allowed us to keep a tab open for the day but we had to sign multiple receipts at the end for each individual that served us. At times our original server wasn't available for ordering. This process could be streamlined. There was not much for night life or rainy day activities. The night life seems to have suffered due to COVID restrictions. Overall we would definitely return and enjoyed our stay!…
Very nice hotel in a big resort with also private villas. Large possibilty for dining with approx. 10 different restaurants all with excellent food. Many golf courses, tennis and horse riding. Very friendly staff.
This resort is AMAZING. I will recommend it to anyone I know that is traveling to the Caribbean. The hospitality is the best I have ever experienced and I am blown away by the attention to detail. I will be back again!
The cost compared to the service you are provided is not comparable. Beautiful facilities slightly outdated. Was least impressed by the food taste and selections, the menus look much better than what is really served. Service throughout the resort was mediocre. Nicest place was the beach and golf courses. Likely will not visit again, would rather go to higher quality for same price.
Casa de campo is a beautiful, relaxing place, with a great service. Wander, Jenifer and Benjamin were really helpful and kind during breakfast, which is delicious by the way. It is really fun to go around in the golf car.
