Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This hotel is very well located, very close to the center where the pink street is, the street of the umbrellas, the street of the kites, you can walk to the San Felipe fortress, you will find many things nearby, however, supermarkets or shops Close after 7 pm you don't find it open.
We stayed 3 nights, the rooms are nice and warm, the beds are comfortable, however, amenities only provide soap and they only cleaned us once.
The breakfast service could vary a little so that it is not the same every day. But in general the food is delicious. The restaurant is located on the 5th, it is a spectacular terrace, it has a great view and also works as a gastro bar.
The staff service could improve a little, having the staff smile and greet you would make the stay warmer.

This hotel is located in the Centro Historico area Puerto Plata. It is walking distance from Parque Central and all the other areas of interest in the Centro Historico area. The hotel is small and very clean. The staff speaks limited English but they are very helpful. I love the rooftop bar, which offers food and a beautiful view.

Stopped in to this hotel/diner for a bite to eat. We had been several times in the past and were anxious to see the accommodations today. We were served a delicious meal by Elizabeth who was very helpful and arranged for us to preview the rooms. We finished our burgers all the while enjoying the spectacular views of the cruise ship and cathedral. We were given a tour and of the hotel and the rooms were clean spacious and well presented. We would highly recommend this this establishment for a bite to eat or an over night stay.

The rooms at Dinasty Hotel were clean and comfortable, and its location was perfect for accessing main attractions. Carla, Maria, and Brendalis were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooftop bar was a fantastic bonus, providing a relaxing atmosphere and great views. The food was delicious, and the setting was perfect with a lovely breeze. Overall, a wonderful stay!

el hotel es hermoso y las habitaciones hermosas y funcionales. pero ojo, por la noche a la salida del bar, imposible dormir. sin respeto por los clientes dormidos. a las 7:45 a.m. el almuerzo todavía no puede abrir, así que no lo teníamos. y en la habitación 4 no hay agua caliente. Relations that I have been in many expensive and economic hotels for this reason I will be very objective. I stayed three nights at the hotel, I will start with the good: it is a super central place close to all points of interest, the breakfast is good, now the negative: the cleaning service was not done in two days, even though I placed the Observation at reception, the attention of the staff is very efficient, they do things by doing them lazily, I would not return to this hot spot since the most important thing for me is the attention to the customer

It was great and so up-to-date. Even the menu for the rooftop restaurant is not printed - but accessible on phone by using QR Code which is at every table and in every room. Unfortunately, in Spanish only - they do need an English translation! The rooftop restaurant has a good selection and a bar with a wide selection of drink including premium brands. The restaurant has extended hours from early to very late at night and offers room service.
The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Lighting was excellent - far better than most places. Nice work area for a laptop. The fridge was handy and very cold. The bathroom was really good and one of the best showers I've seen in many travels. Everything was squeaky clean.
I speak a little Spanish and that helped me get by - along with Google Translate on my phone. The only downside for me was the lack of elevator. My room was 2nd floor, but it seemed like they had extra steps to get there :-) Then the restaurant was another set of steps up to the roof. For an old man the steps were no blessing - for someone a bit younger they shouldn't even be an afterthought.
Excellent location with most things in easy walking distance.
