This hotel has it all when it comes to location in Santo Domingo's zona colonial. It's from a day gone by and but the location makes up for it. You are in easy walking distance to historical sites and restaurants. The staff was pleasant. Our room although a bit dated and shop worn was comfortable. We had a balcony over...

My boyfriend and I love LA CONA COLONIAL, we live 2 hours away from Santo Domingo so everytime we go that area is our priority. There was a little issue at the moment of the check-in but the recepcionist took care of it right away. I love the room, I thought I was going to get a room with balcony...

The air condition in my room didn't work, the telephone was out of order, the wall was cracked and stained, the bathroom's shelf was dirty upon arrival, the cupboard was of a shanty town standard. There is no lift (my room was on the 4th floor!). The whole experience was of a run down hotel.

I enjoyed this hotel for the very word listed in the title! ;) Location! It really is a set-piece in the middle of the Zona Colonial and a beautiful building to "come home" to each night. Another real positive is the restaurant. Every morning we did eat the free breakfast included in the deal we got on our rooms (we...

We stayed here for the 2nd time and it was great once again. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has plenty of help and food super as usual. No free refills on coffee in the morning but the fresh passion fruit juice outstanding. Dinner my wife had a thick cut of salmon fillet and i had the goat....both great!

One of my favorite hotels in Santo Domingo. Atmosphere is quite nice as it is located right down town in the historic centre with many restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms are quite simple but have all you need. Bathrooms are a bit small but its all clean. The only downside is it can be quite noisy in the rooms,...

First let me start by saying that the review I am about to write could have had two more stars but because of some of the downfalls of its location it only gets one. If this hotel was anywhere else on a quiet street it would get three stars. Located in the colonial district, the hotel is on a very...
