The staff is mostly unhelpful and / or rude
The rooms are outdated, the water system is deficient (water goes from cold to boiling in a matter of 5 seconds - pleasant in a shower) and all taps leak.

There is an option which worked for me. Across the Pontoon bridge you have the Reinassance Hotel which has a very nice artifical beach. For a fee you have access to it.
