This is a very old hotel. Needs lots of up grading. However the people were friendly and very helpful. Not close to city so needed a taxi to go anywhere. Limited food choice and there were not many people staying there. Beach was OK and the ocean view from our second floor balcony was great.

Book this hotel at your peril. I’ll start with a good point, the staff are very friendly but that's where it ends sadly. It's not an hotel for tourists but for local workers who just need a room for a night or two. It's 2 miles from town and costs £10 each way by taxi although one taxi driver tried...

We needed a place to sleep for one night in Varadero as we were going on the Trinitopes tour the next day. The hotel is not near the main Varadero resort area, nor is it on the tourist bus route so taxis will be required to get to and from the restaurant area. The room was basic. It was old....

Hotel Oasis is a wonderful little place to experience what life is like as a Cuban. Mostly Cuban nationals were here when I was staying at this property, but they were very friendly and enjoyed meeting Canadians. Food was very good and very Cuban at the restaurant, service was excellent. Beer was cold, Espresso was hot and the bar tenders...

Not bad if you're not looking for luxury. The hotel itself is old but the staff are great. I wish they had a better room and bathroom but for the price you pay, don't expect much. The beach, however, is a different story. Fantastic beach with nice waves. This was my first trip to Cuba and the food is awful....

We have gone to Cuba 3 years now. we have really enjoyed going to the Oasis. We really missed going this year but we couldn't find another place we need the ground floor as we are older and have walkers. Sure hope they are just closed for renovations or something temporary

I stayed there for a week during Christmas time. They had program like everyday for that special time of the year and the food is on average. Once in the morning, I was swimming at the pool inside the hotel and even saw a condom floating!!! Apart from that, it was quite nice and pleasant stay there, if you are...

Back after 2 years. Wanted to go to this resort only and was extremely happy booking it 3 days in advance at CAD $400 all inclusive. Arrived at about 10am, asked for top floor, got room on top of buffet, room was not ready yet. I told Front Desk agent that will bring suitcase in and housekeeper can clean while...

I have never complained about a hotel before. I find sometimes people are fussy in their reviews so hoped this would be one of those cases - but no. This really is a terrible hotel. Firstly we couldn't find a map of where it was, no doubt because it isn't actually in Varadero at all. It is isolated so if...

The hotel is in a process of renovation and everything is not in perfect condition, but the service is excellent. The staff strives to please the customer. My room had an ocean view and was very comfortable. My family and I felt very comfortable in this hotel and we would come back another time.
