Just got home from a week stay at Kawama it was horrible, To start with the reception staff and bell boys are not very friendly. We had no working toilet or air conditioner for the first 3 days. The rooms were made to look clean but they were not, You couldn't walk in your bare feet without getting them black....

Kids got us the trip to Cuba as Christmas present. We stayed at club Kawama all inclusive for a week and was pretty decent. Our room was upgraded to seaside and nice clean space. Food was good always found something we could eat. A la cart restaurants were nice good food. Most staff were friendly and we would go back...

This was our first time to Cuba but not our first time staying at all-inclusives all around the world. First, we arrived Christmas Day morning around 5ish and we were greeted by a receptionist and a security fellow who showed us to our room. After reading numerous reviews and taking the advice from many, we upgraded to a Superior room....

We spent a week at club kawama in January 2017. I have stayed in different resorts and will not be returning to this one. The majority of the staff was rude, unhelpful, and definitely not accommodating. The front desk clerks were ridiculous!! Not only would the answer be no to every question you asked but they would talk rudely about...

To be sure, Kawama has a cult following of repeaters (but so did Edward Wood). This is an older, character resort that earns one star above three because of its charms. I'll try to be honest and clear in my take as a solo, first timer to Kawama (6th timer to Varadero). Stayed in 301 - Superior ground floor. Good...

I love this place. My husband and I came to this hotel because the International was torn down and many of the staff transferred there. I found the people who work there amazing, with the exception of one security guard, everyone was amazingly friendly and helpful. I never experienced anyone asking for a tip and in some case, they won't...

Ive been here 6 times in a row and love the people and place. Close to everything! People that complain expect too much for what they pay for. Im very happy with this place. Its the oldest resort in varadero. Fidel Castro stayed there in 1960. The place is allways making itself better with renovations.

Went there for 2 weeks dec . 2016 . The service at the check in desk were rude to us and never smiled .The luggage guy asked us for 5 dollars as a tip for putting our luggages in storage till we got our room key.The lifeguards were hiding behind buildings to play with their cellphones. The public washrooms near...
