My fiancé and I have stayed at Casa Rolando y Marisol during our 5 days in Havana and we couldn't have had a better time! Not only was the room super neat and cozy, the meals delicious, the mojitos flowing ( I can drink Mari's mojitos and eat Rolando's lobster dinner every single day for the rest of my life)...

Rolando and his wife Marisol are incredible hosts. Their home is centrally located right in the heart of Old Havana, which makes walking to most things a breeze, and it's a short taxi ride from everything else. They are so friendly and extremely helpful, with great recommendations and connections for taxis, etc. You must have their breakfast, INCREDIBLE! Their home...

This is a wonderful place to stay, it is clean and safe. The rooms have safes and are cleaned daily. Our room was nicely decorated with 2 queen size beds on the second floor and a private en-suite, there were a few minor issues with the plumbing fixtures but everything worked. We highly recommend having your breakfasts at the casa...

I stayed twice at La Casa del Chef. First for a few nights after arriving in Havana and then for a further 5 nights at the end of a wonderful 3 weeks in the rest of Cuba. Rolando and Marisol (and their family and friends) were so very welcoming. In fact the warmth of the atmosphere extended to all the...

I was welcomed by Rolando and Marisol with open arms when I arrived in Cuba. They made me feel like part of the family and I loved staying with them. The breakfast was delicious -- the best coffee I had in all of Cuba! -- and the lobster dinner was amazing. It was a perfect location, cozy and comfortable, and...

The room we rent was excellent and the owner Rolando was very friendly and welcoming. They were helpful and gave us a lot of good tips. In Cuba almost everyone makes good lobster, but this one was one of the better. I can really recommend it!

Stayed for 4 nights. This was our first stop in Cuba. Rolando and Marisol are a great team, they are so friendly and inviting. There breakfasts and dinners were great. The room is adequate and very quiet. The sleep quality was very good. We had a small lounge to ourselves just outside our room. All Casas are not alike as...

Stayed for 6 nights with 2 adult daughters. Located in southern part of Old Havana. Airport taxi driver (an approx. 30 min. trip) required directions. Casa is an easy approx. 10 min. walk to nearest restaurants and sights. Daughters advised they had no safety concerns. Taxi stand nearby at foot of Cale Cuba. Be prepared for rooster calls late at...

I was not lucky enough to stay here, but my friends were. On the day of their arrival, Rolando saw me waiting on the sidewalk and invited me in. I regularly came by to visit my friends and eat dinner with them and was always made to feel welcomed. The food was delishious and the servings were more than generous....
