Our first two nights in Cuba were at Roberto y Mary's casa in the old part of Havana where you want to be. It was myself and my 2 young children. We couldn't have felt more welcome! The rooms are spotless, and the breakfast fresh and generous. We immediately felt like we were part of the family. Roberto made the...

Roberto and his wife Mary were very welcoming. It was our first 3 days in Cuba. The breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious and served on their 2nd floor terrace. The rooms (not en-suite) were basic but beds comfortable. Air conditioning unit was needed but a little loud and the near-by hens and cockerels , with their pre dawn chorus, took...

Amazing place to stay in Havana close to main touristic attractions, incredibly clean and wonderful breakfast. But that's standard for a good hostel. People are the most attractive and unusual a in this house. They are like characters from an Hispanic movie. Talk to Ester, the matriarch, and you will have a fabulous Cuban experience!

Really recommend this casa - in a great part of town, lovely rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and incredibly welcoming and helpful family. We stayed for the last night of our trip and they made every effort to help us out, including looking after our bags all day and letting us shower before our flight. Really lovely experience. Muchas gracias Roberto...

I would not hesitate to recommend this "casa particular" to any traveller looking to experience the Cuban culture in Havana. "Mi casa es tu casa" (my home is your home) were the first words uttered to us when we arrived and that was certainly the feeling we were left with at the end of our 4 night stay :) The...

My stay at the casa particulares of Roberto and Zoraido was probably one of the best I had in Cuba.. The place is located right in the middle of old Havana, it is spacious, has a very nice terras to relax and Roberto, Zoraido and the entire family represent very well the kindness of the true cubanos.. The rooms are...

We stayed with Roberto for our first four nights in Cuba. Roberto kindly arranged for a car to collect us from Havana airport (recommended: 25CUC). LOCATION: The house is on Calle Lamparilla which runs parallel to Calle Obispo - the main tourist bar/restaurant drag in Havana. Lamparilla ends in Havana Vieja which is a very pretty part of town and...

We had a great 3-nights stay with Roberto and Zoraida. Their casa is centrally located in Habana Vieja, the old town of Havana. Breakfast was great, with lots of fresh fruits. The casa is nicely decorated and you get to appreciate the calm inside. Roberto and Zoraido make you feel very welcome, they are reliable and can give you good...

We had booked a room at this casa for 4 nights and we had confirmed our reservation a week before our arrival, the day before our arrival and even called to say we were at the airport and would be getting there in an hour or so. Despite all this, when we arrived at the casa, we were informed that...

A renovated 18th century haven in the middle of tourist Havana. The breakfasts were delightful and were always topped off with a good-morning cigar. Roberto and Zaraida were delightful, knowledgeable and ALWAYS wanting to help. It was the best part of the trip.
