Stayed at this palacio 4 nights before and 2 nights after a short trip to varadero . The rooms are very spacious and very luxurious . Its really well located , has a nice roof top bar with inexpensive drinks( 2usd for Cubata..) I have been all over Cuba last 30 years and the service here is really good, with young motivated staff. Rooms and bathroom in white and blue,full amities incl daily bottled water Free wifi, good breakfast they bring you cappucino on request. Old city in front of your door and the square is lighted at night. some fantastic restaurants nearby.. These hotels and some others can be booked via Destinia a Sanish OTA as you will not find them on booking/expedia etc due to the embargo. prices for such a fantastic hotel are very low ( around 100-110 E)compared to iberostar etc. Will return . Taxi to/from airport is usd 25/eur 25 took 25 minutes

Clean, comfortable and profes staff. My colleagues, students and I had a great stay. The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of old Havana and in a quiet and charming plaza. The hotel had many amenities, including a bar and a spa. Breakfast was buffet style and very good, with a selection of cold and hot foods , fruit and good coffee.

Fantastic staff who are always happy to help in anyway possible. Great breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Spacious rooms. The location was perfect - just on the edge of the old town, (but very easy walking distance) making it quiet. Has great bars and restaurants on its doorstep. Fantastic!

Firstly, the location of this hotel is spot on. In the old town on a pedestrianised square and our room overlooked the port (see photos). Easy walking distance to everywhere. The room itself was well appointed, great bed, furnishings and bathroom. Breakfast was hit and miss; we noted on the days the TUI cruise ship was in, there was a shortage of bread and eggs. Check was OK staff were not particularly friendly. Issue with AC, maintenance man came up to the room and was pretty gruff. We had not been told on check in that there was no water in the hotel. This could have been explained. It was back on when we returned from dinner out. Great system on the outside of the door so you can light up a panel with “zzzz” on it so you’re not disturbed. Sadly, another guest chose to ignore this in the very early hours (not the hotel’s fault) and then so did the housekeeper and it wasn’t even 10:00. To sum up, even tho the room and location were amazing, we wouldn’t return purely down to staff and breakfast.

Place has a nice surrounding with view exposed to fresh air. Highly appreciated during heat wave. Service lacked efficiency. Daiquiri classic turned into blue cocktail with not much consistency, beers not so cold and over-long waiting time to get appetisers was explained with “a group being dealt with on the other room”showing lack of organisation and disrespect for individuals customers…. The food ( beef slices or pork loin as well as croquettas) is a total miss even given the tough situation in Cuba. Waiting staff was nice and trying to their best but failure to convince to come back for another visit. We left still feeling hungry. Waist of time.

People are amazing, accomodations are the best. The hotel is walking distance to everything, Reataurants, Bars. the admosphere is incredible. Make sure to bring enough cash with you to spend and tip the staff from Hotel. They have limited access to credit cards and debit cards.
