My first impression of the hotel was poor, when we were shown our bedroom, the floor was very dirty, i.e. a patch of hair left, the bin unempted, an old pair of shoes had been left behind, and the window wouldn't open. The second bedroom that we were shown was larger, but there was a broken toilet seat, the floor...

We have stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is a historic building, so it really offers a different type of accomodation, which is charmful to be honest. We got there after a long flight and the rooms were chill with very clean bedsheets. The atmosphere is the one of an older mansion house( which it actually is) and the...

5 stars to all the employees of Hotel San Miguel, you guys did a fantastic job. 3 stars to the actual facility and that's for the following: - Toilets don't flush - Piece of ceiling fell on us - No wifi in our room - No maps or any tourist materials - Spotty internet (not the hotel's fault but the...

If I ever go to Havana again, I will stay at the San Miguel. When we arrived, it was like going back in the history. The hotel is small, authentic, beautiful and classic. If you are looking for a luxury resort with swimming pool etc. this is not place, but if you want to get a feeling of Cuba, to...

The first question is why stay in a hotel in Havana? There are many excellent casas providing far superior accommodation at a fraction of the price of the hotels. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of our trip to Cuba. This was the only hotel we stayed in and would highly recommend staying in private...

5 block of the center of Havana. Good room. The bes is not as confortable as I wish. The personel is excellent. Breakfast 4/5. Has a bar. Next to La Cabaña Bar. At the next corner in the Malecon has a bar that has the coldest beer I drunk in havana(Blue Picture)

We booked three nights in September as our first stop in Cuba. Unfortunately, when we arrived close to midnight from the airport, they told us that due to rain damage, our room wasn't ready and they had arranged alternative accommodation around the corner. So we checked in the following morning. Despite this, we had a nice room overlooking the harbour...

Spent 3 nights in this characterful hotel. 1st room allocation proved to be very dark and small with a small window you could not really open and look out of as it was only about 2 feet away from next building. Also when you looked out it looked directly onto a family house window!! Requested a change and was moved...

Hotel was great located in old Havana and a close walk to Havana 61 (great restaurant) and a short walk to other restaurants and attractions. Hotel was very clean, provided shampoo, conditioner, soap had air con and mini fridge stocked with soft drinks and water. The hotel had an elevator too so great for people with a lot of luggage....
