Hostal Peregrino was our home for 7 days. Julio was helpful and informative. The people who worked there were friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were clean and reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there again.

We tried to reserve a room in their casa but they were full. It's a hectic scene, but the owners are business-like, helpful in an officious way. They are fluent in English. They arranged an airport pickup for us. They booked our transportation to Vinales and confirmed our reservation at a casa there. The Peregrino owners booked us into an...

This was the first accomodation on our 3 weeks Cuba trip. We were two couples and had the quadruplet room with two floors and balcony oriented to the street. Noise level was medium. Cleanliness was OK, the bed cloths smelled little musty. Overall, beds were comfy. Room service cleaned up the room almost too attentive ... Some of our drugstore...

Very comfortable and well located. The room was good with large bed (not yet king size bed) and good bathroom. We had only a very nice Cuban breakfast (fruits, tomatoes & cucumber, bread and eggs fruit juices, coffee & milk, ham, no bacon in spite of pork served in all forms). Very good service but be aware of noise as...

We stayed in an associated casa down the street as the hostel itself was full. Our room was basic and very out-dated but there was a private bathroom, air-con and a safe. However, nice to know our money was going to a local lady. We had breakfast at hostal peregrino which was great. Julio and Elsa were very friendly and...

We spent 3 days at hostal peregrino el encinar. Great location in the old town and we were impressed by the design of the room that was amazing! Also the toilette is completely modern. Staff is very friendly and they won't esitate to give you all info you need.

We truly enjoyed our time at Hostal Peregrino. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and a good hearty breakfast. They were helpful in arranging transportation for us when requested. Loved our time touring the old buildings of Havana. Everyone was very friendly and we felt very safe entire time in the city. Thanks from Luc, Thomas,...

Nice clean room, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Breakfast was nice (fresh fruit, eggs etc) and the location is good, just on the edge of the old town. Highly recommend this place, good value for money.

This was our first port of call in Cuba. The location in old Havana is excellent – very good for a first timer. It only takes a couple of minutes to walk to the Cathedral square. The staff in the hostel were efficient but they don’t speak much English and unfortunately we don’t speak Spanish, so if anything urgent happens...

All the employees at the hostel were so nice and welcoming! They scheduled all our taxi transfers to and from locations, answered and recommended us many places to see, and eat. Breakfast at the hostel is 5cuc for fruit, eggs, pancakes and other typical cuban breakfast foods. Our rooms were cleaned daily and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
