This Hotel is quaint and traditional 1920's. The rooms could do with looking at as ours had open sockets in the bathroom. There is a traditional lift with is run by the porter and can take an age to come when busy. I have travelled with a wheel chair which was difficult in general around Havana.

I stayed in the Hotel Ambos Mundos from February 23 - 27, 2017. The hotel was exactly what I was hoping for...Classic and Charming. The decor was Cuba Classic with an open air lobby and piano bar, gated elevators and a roof top bar where they served breakfast and in the afternoon, the bar was filled with people being entertained...

We did not stay at the hotel but toured Hemingway's room on the fifth floor and then walked up to the sixth floor, to the roof top bar. The mojitos were only three dollars and were the best ones we had in Havana. The view was amazing and was one of the highlights of our trip.

While walking Calle Obispo, this lobby bar looked friendly and inviting. The restroom was clean and usable, there was a piano player, and the ambiance was quite nice. Ceiling fans helped move the humid air, and we had a very nice respite from walking the hard, uneven street, and even missed a brief rain shower while sipping our drink.

Nice hotel were we got to see Ernest Hemmingways room. We were not able to go inside. We went to the roof top for some drinks and fruit to help hold us down for dinner. Great view! There were a lot of his photos and great history.

We didin't stay there, but whilst visiting Havana one cannot ignore Hemingway's hotel! It is in the heart of the city, quite well preserved, especially considering a lot of other bulidings in Havana. A must is a visit up to the terrace bar! We stopped there for a drink and the view was amazing!! And yes, of course, they make...

A must to fill out your Hemingway tour of Habana. Very small room where he wrote "Death in the Afternoon", "Green Hills of Africa" and "To Have and Have Not". Easy to see why his wife had him move from here to the Finca Vigia estate.

Stayed for one night. The hotel is just off Plaza de Armas in the old city of Havana - no vehicles are allowed anywhere near so one has to carry bags from where a vehicle drops one off. It was Ernest Hemingway's hotel in Havana so the whole hotel is decorated with photos of him - and "his" room is...

Visited whilst in Havana as hotels like this are the only places you can get wifi. You need to puechase a wifi card they should cost about 2 cuc, not more. This bar sells them to tourists for 4.50 cuc, so more than double!! Also I was double charged on the 2 drinks we had, luckily my gf noticed as...
