When we arrived in Havana for the first time last October, the taxi driver knew the street of Sergio's house and dropped us off in front of the door. Sergio and Miriam are extremely welcoming, and once Sergio showed us our accommodation, he sat down with us to discuss behavior of some Cuban people. I'm an experienced traveler and I...

As often happens in Cuba, we arrived to find the accommodation we booked wasn't available, but our host Sergio was quickly able to find a space for us in another casa he owns, and then we moved to what we had booked on the second day. Both places were very clean and well looked after! Nothing flash but more than...

Had a reservation with Sergio Y Miriam. Sergio is very friendly and nice. Great guy. However, upon arrival he moved us to another Casa owned by his friend. So we didn't actually stay with him. The Casa was not that comfortable or great compared to other choices we were considering. I think it's because we based our decision on staying...

We arrived in Havana with a reservation with Sergio y Miriam in their casa in Calle Santa Clara. Rooms were decent enough but not the best available.. the beds were comfortable with nice sheets though which is a rare thing in Cuba! Good location as well. The breakfast was excellent and Sergio was super helpful in planning the rest of...

I stayed at Sergio and Miriam's second casa for 6 nights. They're both very friendly, as is the woman who looks after that house. The room was good, the breakfasts were great, and they were all fun to be around and very helpful. The location is excellent, too - just a few blocks from Plaza Vieja, where there are lots...

This casa was our first spot in Cuba and from the first minute Sergio and Miriam mad us feel like home. He explained us everything we needed to know about Havana and help us with tours...

We stayed in the casa particular from Sergio and Miriam twice and we really had a nice stay! Since the first moment we felt like being at home. They were very friendly, always ready to help, arrange taxis or accommodations and more than happy to have an interesting chat with you. We stayed in the casa particular from Santa Clara,...

We have travelled all over the world and this is one of the most welcoming places we have ever stayed. Sergio helped us with anything we needed or just answered any little questions we had. They made us genuinely feel like family! On top of this the location is perfect. We want to go back to Havanna just to stay...

What a warm welcome to Cuba! Sergio made us feel so at home from the minute he opened the door and we were greeted with his big smile :) We stayed at the Santa Clara house and had the whole place to ourselves as there were 6 of us girls travelling together. This casa is an old colonial home centrally...
