We just stayed at Coco Palm from March 24 to April 2 and couldn't have been more pleased. For $70 (USD) per night we had a private garden apartment in the pleasant Belnam neighborhood. We spent a week here, and the accommodation was good. Plenty of room and a nice quiet garden (shared by 4 properties). The office/pool/bar was just up the road, but this was not a problem as we needed a car anyway - there is no public transport on the island. The shower was a bit wonky, although the water was...

Coco Palm is a lovely budget self catering accommodation situated close to the beach in Bonaire. Our individual unit within a group of units had a lovely patio with table surrounded by pretty gardens and birds. A BBQ is also in this area. Coco Palm Garden & Casa Oleander are the ideal Bonaire self catering vacation rentals for divers and windsurfers - or everybody looking for tranquility and privacy away from the big hotels. Our accommodations are self contained vacation homes (studios, apartments, villas) in the quiet residential area of Belnem, south of the airport and Kralendijk. Our accommodations include a kitchen with a 4 pit stove with oven, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishes, tableware. There is hot water in the shower, towels and bed linen included. All the units have air conditioning for an additional charge of $15/night per bedroom. There is wireless internet connection at the office and in the apartments. It is a 2-minute walk to Bachelors Beach for swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. Bonaire has more than 50 scuba dive locations easily accessible by car. To the windsurf spot in the Lagoon of Sorobon you drive about 5 minutes. The constant inland trade winds and the shallow warm water assure the beginner as well as the experienced windsurfer a wonderful windsurf vacation. ... more   less
