Christmas 2010 was my first trip to Barbados and I am itching to return! My holiday was made all the better by staying at the Dolphin Inn run by the wonderful Iris (and not forgetting Tyra and Ron!). I went with 2 friends, one of whom has stayed many times at the Dolphin. It was all she promised. Home from...

I stayed at the Dolphin Inn for about 4 weeks, and my entire stay was wonderful. The Dolphin Inn is a short walk away from 2 great beaches as well as the main tourist area, St. Lawrence Gap. This location is perfect as it is close to all of the bars and restaurants, yet nice and quiet. My room was...

If you are looking for a cheap, clean place with a good location, dolphin inn is a good choice. I enjoyed the use of the communal kitchen, bed was comfy and firm, and dolphin-themed decor. Some suggestions for simple improvements that would make a big difference: - Replace fluorescent lighting with softer, warmer bulbs. In the kitchen and in Room...

I've stayed at the Dolphin every year for the last few years and now wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on the island. The Dolphin has both rooms and appartments. I've stayed in both and they are both great. Rooms have air conditioning for a small extra charge but we never found the need to use it. The communal kitchen...

This accomodation is incredible. You get the best for a reasonable price and the owner; Iris is very helpful and make you feel comfortable in every moment. The location is unbeatable; you will be in centre of the most important spots; the gap , oistin market (highly recommended on friday night), beaches... and you have a van stop in 300...

I stayed with a friend at the Blue Dolphin Apts. during Christmas for two weeks. It's a small place, very clean, comfortable, and close to everything: a great beach (Dover Beach), restarurants and bars. It's in a residential neighbourhood, so the walk to the beach is approx. 4 minutes and to the Gap an additional minute. We had a great...

I stayed at Iris's Blue Dolphin for 7 days in early December. Iris and her son bent over backwards to assist me in every way they could. The room was exactly what I requested, the AC was freezing cold and the internet worked well (the internet price of $10 per week, shocked me, I thought it was $10 per day)....

I stayed at the Dolphin Inn for 4 nights and was very happy with it. It is a little bit of a walk to the Gap but there are a few other bars and places to eat close by. It seems to be more in a "locals" area rather than a touristy area, which was ok w/ me. The family...
