This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel and once again we were not disappointed. The hotel is small and friendly with a big heart. The staff are fantastic - nothing is too much trouble really it isn`t. The beach is idilic and lunch at Harolds bar is a must the Rotis are superb and the watersports...

Like many Tripdvisor readers, we scrutinised websites and looked closely at photos to compare beaches and rooms of nicer hotels before we went to Barbados. What sold us on The Sandpiper was the friendly response to enquiries and being a Small Luxury Hotel of the World at a reasonable price. We certainly made the right decision. The Sandpiper sits in...

We are so glad we stayed at The Sandpiper after comparing with different properties. This small luxury hotel has it all, from beautifully decorated and spacious rooms to a superb beach with wonderful water that you just wander out onto. It's just a short walk to the left to beachfront bars and cafes in Holetown, but our best dining experience...

We stayed here over the Columbus Day weekend and were impressed by the level of service and the beauty of the grounds. When we drove up I was a little worried because the street and town seemed so busy but somehow they manage to wall off the grounds completely and make you feel like you're in your own little island...

My wife and I spent 6 nights at The Sandpiper in the middle of March and had the most fantastic holiday. Firstly, having just read the previous review I would like to clarify a couple of points. I must admit that The Sandpiper has recently experienced some problems with the tide, which has reduced the size of the beach. However,...

Our fifth trip to this magical hotel. As stated over and over, the owners and the entire staff take such pride in how that manage everything and make you feel at home, without being overbearing!!! The resort has amazing food and an overall great feel!!

owners were lovely and many of the staff were lovely. I'll say right up front that we are fairly picky travelers having been to many truly luxurious resorts and this was NOT one of them. I'm writing this right now from the pool instead of from my room since the wireless internet hasn't worked for 2 days and they are...

Stayed at Sandpiper with my wife - standard garden room bigger than expected and very private being end of terrace overlooking gardens. Lovely room - only small niggles being the shower hot water took over 5 minutes to come through every morning and occasional traffic noise as close to road. Staff exceptionally friendly and service was very good - especially...

Beautiful small hotel. WE stayed in the top suite and it was stunning. Only complaint is they gave us the one closest to the hotel and we could hear the noise from the kitchen evry day. There is one that would have been quiter, ask for that one. The service is great. Do not book the dine around unless you...

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We went to two islands, Saint Lucia then Barbados. The Sandpiper as has been mostly stated, has mostly British guests. The service at the Sandpiper is great and the food was wonderful too! However, the accomodations have much to be desired. The rooms, excluding the new suites, are more like the...
