Lovely hotel, charming, intimate, excellent service. When we were there it felt like all the other guests had been airlifted from a tour of Tuscany in the summer - very civilised people. There is a realtively smaller beachfront than some hotels, but ample for the small number of guests. Service attitude was outstanding. great restaurant and really nice beach bar/restaurant.

Another return visit to the Sandpiper and as always it was splendid. The calm and relaxing atmosphere is wonderful with friendly and efficient staff. The proximity to the very chic new shopping Mall, Lime Grove, is a bonus and useful on an occasional rainy day. The Sandpiper continues to deliver a great level of service, good food and attention to...

We visited the Sandpiper for a long stay during the off season. It was simply a delight. Opting for a One Bedroom Garden Suite was an excellent decision and, at off season prices, a true bargain. The decor isn't what western travellers might normally expect and the bathroom perhaps not up to the level of luxury people travelling in this...

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to this lovely hotel. The staff are aways welcoming and called us by name in the restaurant. There were lots of familiar faces among the staff and guests and it felt as if we had never been away. We had requested an upstairs room and were not disappointed when we were shown...

Not long back from our first trip to Barbados and this hotel. We selected it after checking the reviews here and it definitely lives up them .. we had a suite overlooking the sea and gardens. The staff are great without exception, the water sports are basically whatever you want to do from a trip out on the boat, swimming...

We just returned from our 10th visit at The Sandpiper. Simply put, this is THE BEST hotel in Barbados. From arrival to departure, the staff goes out of their way to ensure that you have the best vacation(holiday) possible. We stay in Room 21. It is a one bedroom suite with an ocean view. Rooms have recently been updated on...

What a lovely place to stay! Beautiful hotel in a perfect location within walking distance of town and our favourite restauarnt "The Tides". We stayed a week in a suite and had not a single complaint. The suite was huge, well fitted out, comfortable bed and very, very quiet. The restaurant food and service are top notch and the entertainment...

Just back from the Sandpiper. Everything from check-in to leaving was done with ease. On arrival we were taken straight to our room by management with our suitcases close behind. Everything was explained and we were offered either a complimentary drink brought to our room or one at the bar. Sadly I was suffering a migraine so never actually got...

I will keep this short and sweet..... Brilliant... Rooms great, private beach, Harold's Bar a dream, the man himself being a legend. Banks beer, great guys on the boats, the best swordfish I have ever had at the restaurant. If you are going to Barbados, STAY THERE.

I have been to the sandpiper 3 times now, and every time i visit it seems to get better. There is nothing at all about the sandpiper which is negative; the beds are so comfortable, you get a lot of space in your room/suite, all of the staff are very helpful and friendly etc.... but because i am only 15...
