We have been to the Sandpiper for several years now and quite simply, this is our favourite hotel in the world. The changes that have been made to Harolds Bar and the new 'lap pool' have enhanced the beach and garden area (which had been something of a concern to regular guests like ourselves) and the Sandpiper has lost none...

We stayed at the Sandpiper in July and enjoyed it so much we have booked to return in October. The staff are very helpful and once you have given your room number they remember and don't have to keep asking you. We stay bed and breakfast so we have the option to dine in the hotel or elsewhere, the dinners...

We had dinner at the Sandpiper three times during our recent visit to Barbados and we were not disappointed once. The staff are friendly and efficient, the menu was varied and each dish was expertly cooked and well presented. Our thanks for three wonderful experiences, we will certainly return next year.

I stayed at the sandpiper in early July with my family and 3 month old daughter. My aunt, daughter and I stayed at the sandpiper for 6 nights and we met my parents who has already been there four nights. Let me begin by saying, we had a wonderful time at the Sandpiper, will definitely be back to stay again,...

Stayed here for a week in June with my partner. We had a lovely room right by the beach. Breakfast was a really nice start to the day and the lunch menu had lots of light options. The location is really good as you're not far from some great restaurants like Lone Star and The Cliff, but also some smaller...

We stayed in one of the suites by the new pool not long after it had opened. The Sandpiper was understated luxury and elegance. On an island where even the fast food is dramatically overpriced, this hotel was worth every penny. Excellent loungers (some of the comfiest we have experienced, with custom towels) on a lovely stretch of beach, free...

This was our second visit to the restaurant at the Sandpiper Hotel, and as before the meal was perfect, its not cheap, but you get what you pay for. My partner had lamb and I had a beef fillet steak, and both were excellent.

We couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in. There were lots of people there who were repeat guests, they had mostly stayed in other hotels but said this one was the best one. The Sandpiper is a small boutique hotel set in beautiful tropical gardens and is tranquil and peaceful with birds and cicadas chirping in the background....

This was our seventh visit to the Sandpiper, which is a family owned resort on the west coast of Barbados. After an absence of four years (travelling to more exotic locales), we returned to a warm welcome, by name, from staff that had remained mostly unchanged. The food is first rate, the service unparalleled, and the beach, although small, is...
