Cavendish Heights Suites is a brand new boutique styled all-suites property conveniently located near the heart of Hamilton. The property has been designed to appeal to both the modern business traveler and the leisure guest looking to experience the culture of Hamilton.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Recently stayed for a week in Bermuda at the Cavendish Heights Suites. I was amazed when I got there as to the space I had in the apartment. With a large lounge area, separate kitchen, large bedroom with separate dressing area and a bathroom I wish I had at home the place was fantastic. Owen and his wife were incredibly helpful and were always on hand for advice or assistance. The location of the property is also great, just a 10 minute walk into the heart of Hamilton,. There is also a convenient bus stop at the end of their road to whisk you into Hamilton or the other way towards St Georges. I would recommend Cavendish Heights to anyone, also recommend that the don't choose a more expensive hotel where the rooms are much smaller. With loads of local places to choose for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (if you don't want to cook in the rather impressive kitchen you have) you can explore the 'real feel' of Bermuda right from your doorstep. If I travel to Bermuda, there is only one place I'll be looking to stay!!

Outstanding. The suites were beautifully appointed and the location was quiet and within easy walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown Hamilton. Owen and Charlene were extraordinarily accommodating, offering to help with scooter rentals and taxis to the airport, and making great dining suggestions. I will stay here again the next time I am in Bermuda!

We loved our 4 night stay with Owen and Charlene, hosts at Cavendish Heights. The suites are on a residential street which is nice because it's not noisy. Easy walking distance to the center of town and right on the bus line, making it easy to sightsee outside of town. The views across the street of the harbor are gorgeous!
Because we were doing a large move, we had TONS of luggage. Nothing was too much to ask when it came to the hospitality extended. They gave extra special attention to my young daughter which she appreciated. The suite is 2 floors and tastefully laid out and decorated!
Highly recommend for couples or a family if 3! Thanks Cavendish for the warm welcome and embracing stay. See you again!

First off, I must compliment and give due credit to Owen and Charlene the owners. We were booked to stay four nights but ended up booking another night due to a glancing blow from a hurricane. We lost power for 27 hours, as did almost all of Bermuda. No big deal as we are used to losing power for days during winter storms. For us, it was all part of our Bermudian adventure. Both Owen and Charlene were very fun, enjoyable to be around, and accommodating during our entire stay making our experience such a wonderful time. I walked all around the neighborhood every morning and enjoyed having conversations with all the friendly neighbors. The suite we stayed in was beautiful... clean, large, tastefully kept. All the other reviews sum up locations to transportation, dining, etc… read them for more information. If you want a resort experience, go to a resort. If you are looking for the real Bermuda, stay at the Cavendish Heights!! You can thank Owen and Charlene for that!! We will be going back there!!

This is a hidden gem. I’ve been to Bermuda tons of times and always stay in the big hotels so I was a little hesitant to book at first but I’m so glad that I did. beautiful property spacious suite and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The location is central. You can literally walk into town to shop eat or just sight see. The beaches are not that far away either. I would definitely stay again.

First time staying at Cavendish Heights in Bermuda, the owners were so nice, suite was just like home, anything we needed they were there to help us. Right on bus route into Hamilton. Close to shops and ect. We will be staying there again also, we have adopted a new mom and dad ,as well as bonded a new friendship with the owners.

I am a professional who worked in Bermuda for 3 weeks. I loved my stay, suites were brand new and fully upgraded. Walking distance to downtown. The Hosts were AMAZING. It was truly a home away from home. I’d highly recommend a stay here.

If you’ve never been to Cup Match, you have to go! The hotel proprietors are friendly and helped me navigate all of the activities on the island during my stay. The hotel itself is new, with apartment style amenities, walking distance to Front Street where I spent a lot of time eating and drinking locale delights (I highly recommend The Pickled Onion and the fried grouper sandwich at Cup Match). I had such a wonderful time on the island and look forward to staying at this hotel again!

We stayed in South Hampton our last trip but chose to stay outside Hamilton this time. Owen and Charlene are wonderful hosts and help with anything needed. We stayed eleven nights and we were about twenty minutes from Front Street with all the main restaurants, shops, grocery store and Festival Nights on Wednesday. We rented a moped like we did last time or you can rent a car or get a taxi to get around. I definitely would recommend staying here without hesitation.

Although I just checked in today, my experience has been so positive I felt motivated to share my initial thoughts. If anything goes south during my visit (three days) I will update :-). Good hosts deserve praise, and these owners are really excellent.
I travel to Bermuda fairly regularly (maybe once/twice a year) and decided to try Cavendish Heights. The location was better based on the work meetings I have and the price was much more reasonable than the hotels where I usually stay. (as an aside, Bermuda is an expensive country and has been as long as I have been visiting ~20 years, but the hotel prices are even more exorbitant than ever). I used Booking.com for the reservation, and it worked easily and efficiently (I am always a little apprehensive, but this was fine).
The location is great - just a 10-minute walk to a grocery store and the restaurants on Front street.
The welcome I received at check-in was warm and professional - friendly Bermudian hospitality! The owner showed me around and made sure I knew how everything worked. They also connect with you via WhatsApp so that you can reach out at any time with questions (and they answer right away). They really go the extra mile to make sure you have all the info you need, and even showed me some little extra acts of kindness that you would never receive at a hotel (like a bus pass that a previous guest had left and still had another week left on it, so they passed it along to me in case I could use it).
The room itself (deluxe queen room, I think) is unbelievable. First - it's huge with a living and dining area, bedroom, walk-in closet, and a full kitchen (only an oven is missing, but the microwave and lovely cooktop are sufficient) with some of the basic food amenities (tea, coffee, cooking oil, spices, etc.) FULL of all the things you would need and more to prepare a meal (toaster, kettle, cheese grater, rolling pin, etc etc). I won't be using most of these things, but they are there if you need them!
The bathroom has a stand-up shower and they provide shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, lotion, hand soap. They seem to be high-quality (a nice detail).
There are two TVs that have streaming services included, AC in the living area and bedroom, and everything is easy to work with the remotes provided. The WIFI is excellent - I just completed a Zoom meeting with no issues.
Finally, and one of the most important points, is how CLEAN the accommodations are.
I really feel comfortable, safe, and well looked after here. Just based on my first few hours, this will be my new regular place to stay. My compliments to the owners who have really thought of everything (there are umbrellas and even a beach bag with towels if you want a little excursion). There is a basket of literature about Bermuda and available activities. It is modern, clean, and everything is in good working condition.
I haven't found a single thing to complain about, and I travel over 100 nights per year for business and pleasure. Although I am generally pretty easy to please (I want clean and safe), I have my particular preferences, and Covendish Heights has met and exceeded all of my expectations! I understand why their ratings are high. THANK YOU!
