Detailed Reviews
The appartment was very clean . services were good. having a kitchen really helped us a lot.
the approach to the appartment is little steep if you choose to walk. the town center is about 2 KM so is a good walk. if you rent a scooty.. then it gets easy..i would recommend this place.

The location was great!! We stayed at a costly resort for the first 2 days of our trip since it was a special occasion but the next 4 nights/5 days we wanted something in a good location but cost effective so that we could do other things. The Windsong was a perfect place for that. We did some grocery shopping since we had a full kitchen. Maid service every single day, fresh towels and cleaned every single day. If you are planning to get out and see the island and not sit in the hotel or apt all day then why spend alot of money. This place was great. We were not there to critique furnishings nor did that matter. Clean, safe, quiet, conformable and convenient. Free Wifi. We will be back on our next visit. Thank You Roslyn!!

- Large apartment for rent, around $140 per night
- Full with all kitchen utensils etc and cable
- You need to either rent a scooter or pay $10 taxi into town, it isn't far, about 2KM, it's just that it can be hilly, and hot!
- Cleaning service daily
- Good shower!
Overall we didn't spend much time in the apartment, out most of the time, but if you are looking for somewhere quiet or reasonably priced and somewhere to put your head down it's perfect.
TIP: internet is $35 for the trip, don't pay it and the internet wireless connection is open with no password so just connect it's open!
I don't have photos sorry but it looks nice enough, they just have about 4 apartments that their family rent out, so it looks just like a bermuda apartment!

My daughter booked a room at Windsong. While heading to the beach with a group of friends she tried to check in. Mrs Armstrong denied her the room, took her money, ( only 1/2 refunded) yelled at her and wouldn’t let her explain that it was only 2 people staying not the rest of the group. When I called and spoke to Mrs Armstrong, she yelled at me, called my daughter a liar and hung up on me.( twice) I’m sure there’s better places with nicer staff. Mrs Armstrong, adults have conversations , yelling at people and insulting them does not resolve issues. Looking at the reviews- she’s done this before. Btw- daughter is out $362.00 for a hotel she was denied entry.

Awful experience. We showed up on a Friday afternoon with a confirmed reservation for 2 adults and 2 kids. We were leaving Bermuda as residents so we only needed one night after moving out of our local house. The location of this guest house is not in a good part of town but as it was just to sleep that night we decided it would be fine.
The owner didn't have the room ready. She then said she didn't "take kids". We have 5 year old twin boys who are very well behaved and the booking was only for one night. I showed her our confirmed booking. She showed me a slip of loose notebook paper with "cancelled" written on it. I had no email telling me there was a cancellation.
I told her we had nowhere to go. All the hotels were booked and we were flying out the next morning. Again, I showed her the confirmed reservation and asked her to honor it. She refused and just kept saying "I don't take kids." I asked if that was even legal, why she holds herself out on the website as taking kids, and if she could make an exception since it was for one night and (again) we had no other options.
She couldn't have cared less.
As I was trying to reason with her and she got increasingly hostile my kids started crying saying "Daddy, I don't want to stay here. This lady is mean and scaring me."
After they said that I told her we were leaving and I'd be writing a negative review. She completely flipped out. She jumped to her feet, slammed her fist on the counter, and screamed "NO!" We headed toward the door and she followed us out screaming. I put my boys in our car and told her she was acting like a crazy person. She continued to scream at us and one of my boys yelled back "You are a very mean lady." As I was telling him that, yes she was, but he needed to show respect to elders she started to berate my child. That was the last straw. I started to yell back at her telling her I'd be complaining to the Tourism Authority as well as writing online reviews. She threatened to call the police on us "if we didn't leave" even though I was in the process of leaving and only stopped to respond to her atrocious behavior.
Fortunately for us, I was able to book a hotel room (at 4x the price) at the last minute and get my family there. Much of that was due to the fact I'm local. However, imagine if you had just spent all day flying and show up with your confirmed reservation only to be turned away.
Do yourself a favor and stay well clear of this place. The neighborhood is horrible if you're looking to stay there as a tourist and the owner is dishonest and unstable.

I was in Bermuda from 6/15 to 6/23. My friends and I went to Bermuda for the carnival and this was our first time on the island. I decided to stay a little longer than my friends to relax and enjoy some me time, therefore I booked a one bedroom apartment at Windsong Guest Apartments from 6/20 to 6/23. My cousin had issues with her flight and had to leave on 6/21 instead of 6/20. This was something last minute. Upon arrival the owner of the apartment was EXTREMELY rude when she found out that my cousin was staying one day with me. I told her I understand why she is upset but I am willing to pay extra for her since she was not originally on the reservation. She was raising her voice at me and I had to ask her several times to not raise her voice and then she proceeded to make a racist remark stating "I know your kind" which she repeated several times. I did not feel comfortable staying there, therefore I checked out that same day and stayed at Sandpiper Guests Apartments where I had a WONDERFUL experience. As soon as I returned home I filed a complaint with Expedia and contacted my credit card company to receive a full refund. I travel frequently and have NEVER had such a horrible experience.

We wanted a place readily accessible to downtown Hamilton in Bermuda rather than near the beaches and "Windsong" was perfect for our needs. As we were looking after our own special meals, the well-provided supermarket, Arnold's People's Market", was just 10 minutes down the steep path to St. John's Road. Rather more puffing back up the hill.
Getting into downtown Hamilton was a $10 taxi ride, more convenient than a tortuous walk down to a bus stop.
We had the 2-bedroom cottage beautifully furnished with good furniture, tasteful pictures on the walls. The beds were a dream to sleep on. The kitchen/dining room was fully equipped with all new utensils, a gas stove and microwave. There was even a separate washer and dryer for those on long stays. Spotlessly clean and serviced daily by Roslyn, who was helpful with local advice. Full station cable TV, and good wi-fi.
For our needs, it was perfect. For those seeking a more typical beach holiday it would be rather out-of-the-way unless you rent a mo-ped as many do. Visitors to Bermuda are not permitted to drive cars.

The Windsong is the perfect locale for those seeking to be close to Hamilton. It's right at the top of the hill in Pembroke Parish. You take a left on the North road, another left onto Pitts, and literally just coast down the hill into Hamilton. You can be at the marina and on the ferry to anywhere in less than 10 minutes. We always parked at Queen Elizabeth Park. The owner of Windsong, Roslyn, is the sweetest woman. We were newbies to the island, and she pointed us in the right direction every time. She even hooked us up with a ride back to the airport. The apartments have full, well-equipped kitchens. The rooms are clean, and the internet always worked -- as did the cable TV. We liked to sleep in late, so we bought breakfast items at Arnold's Market the first day and made breakfast for ourselves each morning. The place is super quiet at night. If you're seeking to walk directly out your front door and lounge on the beach, then perhaps the giant tourist laden resorts on the southwest side of the island are more your speed. But if you want to get out and explore, hang with the locals, eat and drink where the locals do, ride all over the island and have a great time -- the Windsong is the place for you.

Bermuda is an expensive country so at around £80 per night these apts are an absolute bargain. Approx 20 mins walk from Hamilton, 10 mins from a grocery store they're large, comfortable, clean & with everything needed for a great stay. Lovely gardens, patio or balcony. Roslyn who owns them can advise you on things to see & do. It's in a residential area so you're part of the community

This place was recommended by a friend. The location was great and very central. The place was very clean and included a kitchen. This enabled us to prepare our own meals. Best of all was the service from the owners. They were very helpful in recommending places to go and also made it very clear that they wanted us to enjoy our stay in Bermuda. Also, nice beach with nice cliffs for jumping in the water is just in walking distance.
