I won a two night stay from my job party in February 2019 and I finally used it December 2019. I wish I had used it sooner! My stay was ah-mazing! The stay-cation was well needed. I went by the hotel a week earlier and they showed me the different kind of rooms which was great because pictures aren't always as good as the actual room and vice versa. I told them I'd be bringing my infant son and they arranged a crib inside my room. My girlfriends birthday was on the Monday after we checked out and they provided us complimentary champagne! When I called reception they were always helpful and ready to come by the room for any of our needs which helps when traveling with a baby. Even though I am local, they recommended different activities we may like and I even borrowed a bike and went joy riding! I haven't ridden a paddle bike in years; it sure was fun.

The Rosedon is an excellent option for visitors to Bermuda who want a boutique size high quality hotel, conveniently located to the amenities and services of the capital, Hamilton. The restaurant, Huckleberry's, is one of the island"s best. The neighbourhood, Pitt's Bay, is adjacent to downtown Hamilton, but quiet.

This is a very nice hotel, with an elegant main building. The hotel bedrooms are in two wings, on two levels. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and Hamilton is a great hub if you want to travel around the island. Our room was well furnished, with ample hanging and drawer space. The king bed however was a little too large for the room, with the left hand side being too close to a window, insufficient room to even walk on that side. The bed was comfortable but also very high, making it a stretch to get in and out of you are less than 5ft 7ins. The housekeeping was very good, except our laundry did not get returned on time, and we had to chase it before it eventually arrived the following day. Our bathroom has a strong musty smell which we realised was coming from the bath drain and we kept our door open whenever sitting outside. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, sitting on our terrace, and having the buffet breakfast in the main building each morning. Most of the other diners appeared to be members of the public, business people, rather than hotel guests. We did not have dinner in their Huckleberry restaurant as we weren’t sure why everything seemed to be accompanied by curry froth, puréed carrots etc, and it was all rather expensive. The hotel is lovely, but you do need to be fit to really enjoy it. If you have any mobility problems you will find the steep driveway a problem when walking to and from the hotel, and the numerous steps to reach your room are an additional problem. We had asked for a ground floor room, and were even told we had one when we checked in. But we didn’t, we had a first floor (2nd floor US). This turned out to be a blessing as the ground floor rooms are down by the pool, with even more steps up the hotel and restaurant. We were disappointed to find that the hotel is not near any bus stops, as we travelled every day around Bermuda on the excellent buses and ferries. The bus map says there are bus stops by the Ferry Terminal but the Visitor Center told us we had to go to the Bus Terminal itself to actually get on a bus. Another long steep walk. That’s of course not the fault of the hotel, just the way the bus routes are planned. The hotel was very helpful in booking our taxi to and from the hotel, which was excellent with our driver telling us a lot about the Island. If we were younger and not bothered by hills and steps we would stay here again. However, the day we left they announced in the local paper that they are starting a renovation this fall, including redoing the bathrooms, adding a pizzeria at the front of the hotel and a bar by the pool, which will be open to the public. The last would not have appealed to us as we and other guests relished our quiet evenings sitting out on our terraces.

We absolutely enjoyed our recent stay at the Rosedon Hotel in Bermuda. We haven't visited Bermuda in a while and had forgotten how beautiful it is. This was our first to the Rosedon. Family members recommended The Rosedon for its' peacefulness, quaint rooms and outstanding service by its' most friendly and accomadating staff. We definitely were not disappointed. Andrew took our luggage to our lovely room that overlooked the pool. There were plenty of umbrellas for shade and we were able to order poolside drinks and snacks from 3pm to 8pm. Daniel usually brought our food and drink to the pool, and he provided us outstanding service with a smile. Housekeeping service was provided by Megan and Craig. They kept our room clean and gave us plenty of towels, water and ice daily. Brianna, our bartender, made the most delicious white Sangria that I've ever had. A special shout out to Marilee who brought us beach towels each day and Anil and Joel who took care of us at breakfast every morning. Terita, who worked at the front desk, was so helpful in making dinner reservations and suggesting nearby places to eat. The service at the Rosedon really spoiled us! It was top notch and hard to beat. We are planning to return very soon.

This was our second time staying at the Rosedon Hotel. It is one of the few reasonably priced places in Bermuda that is within walking distance of Hamilton. The staff and owners are the nicest people and the grounds around the pool (where my husband swam every day) are a lush oasis of greenery. Breakfast was delivered each morning to our outdoor patio. When we stayed here six years ago, you ate breakfast in the main portion of the hotel, but the new method is very nice, too. The room was large and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There is a nice-size fridge to store cold drinks and small food items. The staff booked a cab to pick us up at the airport as well as helped us reserve an electric car to explore parts of the island. The Huckleberry Restaurant on site is first-rate. What we love about this hotel is that it is run by a family, which has owned it since the 1950s, and the family members are just the nicest people. We will definitely be back.

Rosedon Hotel Bermuda is a very special place. Located within a 5 minute walk to the Front Street shops and restaurants. They staff is an outstanding group of employees that make sure your stay is exceptional. I booked a 3 night stay for my wife’s birthday. Matt Kitson worked through my endless questions. He took care of scheduling pickup and return to the airport, activities for during our stay, had the Chef bake my wife a wonderful birthday cake (thank you Chef!), and made sure the birthday dinner was remarkable! Our room was excellent. The bed was beyond comfortable and amenities were superb. At check-in we were given Rum Swizzles that were awesome. From the bell captain, wait staff, cleaning crew, office staff, and all the behind the scene staff you won’t find a Hotel that goes out of their way to make sure your stay is remarkable!

Just returned home from a wonderful 8 day 7 night visit to Bermuda staying at the boutique Rosedon Hotel. On arrival, we were greeted by JoLisa who checked us in and showed us to our room. Our room was well furnished and very comfortable. A wonderful buffet breakfast was provided . Daily breakfast offerings included warm freshly made oatmeal, a variety of freshly made croissants and breads, fresh fruits, yogurt with granola toppings, a great selection of teas, and fabulous coffee .
The Rosedon Hotel has been in their family since 1952. Scott and his son Matthew now manage the family property. They helped with making dinner reservations and suggested on how to easily get around on the island . The grounds are beautifully landscaped. I was so happy to spend an important birthday at the Rosedon Hotel…
Oh did I mention that the Huckleberry Restaurant is on the property in what was once the main-house on the property. Great food ! Our servers Daniel and Anil were so helpful with the wonderful menu . One of the best restaurant on the island !

Hotel is in a great location for Hamilton, walking distance to town and the peer. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with a no-charge room upgrade (Rm#2). The entire staff was friendly and always accommodating. On Sunday we came late for breakfast by mistake, but they serviced us anyway. Nice touch. Breakfast menu was plentiful and tasty. Housekeeping did a good job each morning cleaning our room and replenishing towels. We asked for extra towels and pillow and they came to us quickly. The hotel staff gave us good suggestions for tourists. Would recommend.

We are going to be fully open as of February 1st, 2023, but we aren't quite ready to accept reservations as we are still getting systems back online.

Hello,
The rooms have a fridge and a coffee maker. If you would like a kettle in your room, they will bring you one. Just ask. They are so accommodating to any request that you may have.
The basic room rates included a nice afternoon tea with finger sandwiches and tea. All other meals were charged separately. There may be another pricing offer during other seasons or under a different plan. Our stay was in very early April which was considered to be off season.
Agree with other posts--very quiet, not really suitable for young children. We loved it! We stayed in a second-floor deluxe room in the section beyond the pool. Two floors in that area. The main building also has two floors of rooms, but it sits up higher than the rear extensions.
