Detailed Reviews
They've made a lot of changes since I stayed here, but from what I can tell they all seem to be for the better. Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and a decent size. It was furnished and set up more like a bedroom than a hotel room. We were on an upper floor of the original building, near the stairs. The breakfast wasn't much but it was enough to get us started so we could go out and get a real breakfast on the days we wanted to. You walk down the hill and you're at the Princess. We had breakfast there a couple of times. Another 10 minute walk and your at the Hamilton waterfront. One thing for newcomers to Bermuda to remember, there are no beaches in the Hamilton area, they are all on the South shore.

The Edgehill Manor Guest House was the best selection in Bermuda for my one-week stay! The beautiful flowers, hearing the birds chirp to each other in the morning, and the cleanliness of the property, made my stay a wonderful one! I seriously needed a week to have some down time from my busy lifestyle and to have peace and tranquility. Edgehill Manor was that place!! Even down to the nice fluffy pillows, and the nice and comfy bed, it was an extremely nice place to stay! There was a nice refrigerator that kept my food items nice and cold, and a toaster oven & microwave oven that heated up my food nicely. The bathroom was nice ans cozy...had hot running water, and there were no issues. The other guests staying there were very nice and hospitable. The pool was so very soothing to my soul...water was warm and tolerable. I layed on the chaise chair and enjoyed the sun rays! I highly recommend this location to anyone who really need some nice and peaceful accommodations for you and even your family! Thank you to Ms. Lana for making everything possible for my stay! I will be back for sure!!

We loved Edgehill Manor! We are a family of four, including 12 and 16 year olds. The room was a very good size, with a kitchenette, two fridges, a good size bed for my husband and I, and two twins size beds for my daughters. There is a small patio and a deep pool too. It was clean. The owner is very nice and it is conveniently located in Hamilton. We walked to the bus depot each day (about 15 minutes) and also to restaurants and shops (10+ minutes).
The only thing is there are no sidewalks walking up the hill to the guesthouse, so one must be cautious. But it was just fine for us!
We highly recommend staying here!

It's hard for me to post such a negative review but other future guests need to be alerted. We stayed in Room 14 (considered on their website a Luxury Efficiency Suite with a kitchen area). There were no essentials (no paper towels, no dish soap, no tissues). The pots were unusable due to crusted bottoms. There was mold in the shower, and the ceramic shower handle was broken and the edges were extremely sharp. The one lounge chair in the room sank almost to the floor when you sat in it. The chairs and small table outside the room were dirty and partially covered with moss and we had to wipe them down to use them. The worst, I think, was 2 of the pillows on the bed were covered in stains underneath the pillow cases and the mattress cover (we looked) was dirty and stained. The pool was not usable due to dirt and fallen debris covering the bottom of the pool the whole time we were there and the area around the pool was extremely unkempt. There were no pool lounge chairs and only 4 plastic chairs and one small table. Since this was the first vacation in many years for us, we were so very disappointed and we will not be recommending this establishment.

This was my first trip to Bermuda and the owner/manager (Lana) was very friendly and welcoming, she gave me good recommendations on where to eat and how to get there. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, went in the off season so it was quiet as well. Would definitely stay there again.

A lovely guesthouse only a 5-7 min walk from Hamilton town centre. I was there for a week, and it was perfect. The pool was a welcome refresher after a run.
Cooking facilities were available within the property when I didn't want to eat out.

My stay at Edgehill Manor greatly exceeded my expectations. Checking in and out were a breeze. The location was great being just a short walk from the ferry terminal, bus terminal and Front Street. The room and bathroom were very spacious and I had a nice balcony to eat breakfast on in the morning.

The suite we booked for 3 was perfect for our needs. We made good use of the wifi, the well-outfitted kitchen, and the tv (with our own streaming accounts). Our host was most helpful. She provide advice on local options for shopping, bicycle rentals, and activities.
The manor is ideally situated for quick access to Front Street and transportation.

We had hoped for better with Edgehill Manor. The room had a kitchenette, but there were no paper products - tissues, paper towels, napkins or even dish soap. We bought these items at a local market. Learned the hard way that there was no plunger in the room. The toilet overflowed and I called the manager (who was not onsite) at 6:30 in the morning. She advised about a plunger in a storage closet, but it was too late by then. The entire bathroom flooded and we were bailing the toilet out with the garbage can and pots from the kitchen. She said that she would call the plumber at 9 am. We had previously arranged to meet with Lana at 10 am for a different reason. I would have thought that she would make an effort to get there as soon as possible given that there was an emergency, but she did not. I called and left messages, but she did not answer for a couple of hours. She had turned off her phone. When she finally answered her phone, she advised that she would be there late, at least a half hour later than planned. She also said that the plumber would not get there until 4pm, so we would have no working bathroom for the entire day. Absolutely unacceptable. We moved to another room, which also had dated fixtures and needed various repairs. The blinds in the bathroom did not even work. The pool was also dirty and we could not use it, even though it was hot enough to swim. The worst of it was her total disregard for the guests; she made no effort at all to fix the problem quickly. If anything goes wrong after she leaves, you are screwed. I will not return to this guest house and would not recommend it to anyone.

Room Tip: Do not stay here. There were no basic supplies and service was awful, especially in an emergency.

Thank you for your questions. I apologize for the delay in responding as I had just become aware that you had made a request for answers.
We do have a few rooms available from Sept 2 to 6. All of our rooms have either a balcony or private patio. We serve breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30am. This is a buffet style breakfast that includes; beverages, eggs, ham, cheese, cereals, toast, english muffins, cakes, pastries & more. Requests can be made 24 hours ahead for special needs such as gluten free, yogurt & fruit etc.,
We are within walking distance to the main city and the beautiful beaches are about a 15 - 20 minute cab or bus ride.
I am happy to answer any other questions that you may have.
Kind Regards
Tricia (Manager)
