We checked into a room with water on the floor and no towels. Next morning water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor. The good side is that the location is good. Cross street and the expensive hotels with great beaches are there.

Based on the pictures online and some reviews we expected more. The staff was less than friendly, gave us a key to a room that has someone in it (sleeping). The pool bartender was new and only knew how to make 5 drinks. For being a "beach club and spa" we were surprised the beach

I will say that I had higher expectations based on the pictures. It’s alright, but not spectacular. The staff is incredibly friendly, the bartender at the pool in particular.

The room was not very clean, with long hairs all over the floor. The fact it’s adults only is a bonus,

Stayed for just the one night before catching the ship.
Unfortunately, like so many of the other hotels in the Caribbean, it is looking very tired.
When we checked in around 7 p.m. the young man on reception wasn't at all welcoming.
I don't know if all the other rooms suffered

Overall OK. Clean, etc.

Sticky front door to room. Hard to open & close.
Ceiling fan switch was behind (hidden by) one of the lamps. Not at all obvious. I could not figure this out and had to ask at the front desk.

This place came up when I was searching night life. Can anyone tell me what the bar is like? Worth a trip to visit? We will be in the area for Hard Rock and just wanted to do some bar hopping here and at Saloon. Worth adding on to our trip when we go in October? Thanks!
First off, this resort is not a resort or even a spa, it is a hotel! The bar is open on different nights. It is really loud dance music and sometimes is very crowded and sometimes it is just the regulars. Sopranos is a good live music bar and a landmark, so that is a must see. There is a Senior Frogs right around the corner, as well as another club like bar across the street. All in all, this is a great area to hang out in. Also, there are casinos in all of the hotels around that area and as long as you are playing the penny slots you can drink for free so that's a good way to start the night off. The local hot spot is called Salt and Pepper. It is just a bar but has the history and a great staff. If you bring a salt or pepper shaker with you from wherever you are from they will display it with the rest of the tourists that have brought them. The frozen Mojitos are awesome! Lastly, there is a bar that is out on the end of a pier over near the RIU resort that has live music at night and it was really fun! Aruba is VERY expensive so try and eat dinners with the early bird specials. They offer them everywhere. They have happy hour for drinks as well from 5-7 I believe. Enjoy your trip!!!! Its gorgeous!!!!

We would like to spend some days on eagle beach. Where could we find chairs and possibly umbrellas for use. Where are the chairs for guests on palm beach?
If you are a guest at the Brickell hotel there are few lounges free but in the same area you can find Marcel Sports (Saundra is the owner) where you can rent umbrella and lounges and be comfortable. At Eagle beach you can also rent but as it is a public beach without hotels on the beach I´m not sure how is the serevice there.

What was the worst thing about your stay? And tell me about the weather, rain?
It rained only for a few minutes one day. Honestly, the hotel was very nice and the staff was greatly attentive. I can't really say that I disliked anything about it.
