it is an all inclusive, which speaks volumes. i rate this at 3 because there is no 2.5. it is a very nice facility, but, there are issues. we came with a group of 33 people, and, for the most part, everyone was satisfied for what it was. as a group destination, it works very well. food and drink is...

I have been to a lot of all inclusive hotel chains but this was my first experience with a RIU palace property. I felt it was a good quality hotel with a few flaws. I have been to better all inclusives but since aruba doesnt have many all inclusive choices I think the riu is a good option there. These...

My husband and I traveled to Aruba during Easter week. We stayed at the Riu based on a friend's recommendation. Everything there far exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at other all inclusives- Sandals, St. Lucia and Beaches, Dominican, and this vacation was by far the most superior. The pool is amazing! The food (buffet) is high quality. The service...

We are 3 adults of various ages who had a lovely holiday at Riu Palace in Aruba. Having read some of the reports about the hotel we were a bit sceptical but knowing that not everyone views things the same we made our own minds up. Our room was on the 7th floor with a very small balcony but a...

A reasonably good holiday resort. After a bit of a problem in the 1st room we were moved to another, although this one did not have a balcony. Food was excellent & 99% of the staff were too. Beautiful place but maybe needs to be redecorated a bit. We would return, but maybe in a different part of the hotel.

Went to Riu Palace on our honeymoon in July 2012. We had a great time overall, with a few minor problems. The food was quite good at every restaurant, even the buffett. Breakfast and lunch was basically the same every day but it was fine. We enjoyed all of the a la carte restaurants and had great service at all...

Our family of four stayed at the Riu Palace Aruba from the 21st July - 4th August. What a fantastic time we had. I cannot stress enough that you needn't take notice of those who are writing very horrible and unfair reviews, I believe these people are just very very VERY hard to please. I'll split this review into sections....

At first glance the Riu Palace looks like an Atlantic City hotel. Pretty grand and lavish on the outside. Almost slightly out of place from the beach. Check in was quick and smooth, our bags were bought to our room within 10 min. The resort is relatively consolidated. All of the specialty restaurants and main buffet was on the 1st...

We travelled with Thomson/First Choice and originally booked self catering at the Holiday Inn. However I then worked out that it would only cost us another £800 to change to all inclusive for the two of us at Rui Palace for 2 weeks which appeared to be a far nicer hotel. Eating out isn’t cheap in Aruba so this was...

We just got back from our 1 week honeymoon to Aruba and stayed at the Riu. We couldn't have been happier despite being a little nervous from reading the negative reviews. When we arrived, we were taken a back on how beautiful the resort was. We were greeted with smiles, rum punch, and even got a free upgrade to another...
