I stay one night to celebrate my birthday, I had mentioned at the booking and nothing was done not even a card as knowledge of it. In general was good but when we want to watch tv around 10pm tv wasn’t working, the maintenance person came try and nothing. the solution was to move to another room at almost 11pm, were for only want night we were tired so we didn’t wanna move pack things and go to another room. I have mentioned to the staff that nigh and the morning after and not apologize not what can we do to make it better. I work in a hotel were we get Marriott member and spg members so I know what are the standards for Marriott and this place still need to get up today with that. In overall was a nice stay. I’m been working for a bit over that 10 years in service, tourism industry and you should always make guest feel welcome and appreciated specially after all this pandemic situation. Pool was nice, room clean, near to the beach and high rise hotel. I will recommend because is nice and I believe in second chances.

Pleasantly surprised and well worth it! The manager was so welcoming, professional and so eager to please. The staff could not be more supportive and professional as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

As Marriott has classified all their other properties as "Class 5 Resorts" with hefty point usage charges, they purchased the bankrupt, long abandoned, non-beach hotel located at the end of a very busy street known as the "The Mill" as an outlet for Marriott Honored Guest Members to cash in their points. While they have spent some money to clean the old joint up to look especially good in photos for Tourists that have never been to Aruba to judge, please be aware that The Mill is not in the same league as most other island resorts and located at the far end of hotel row. You'll need your walking shoes to get to the beach or a decent meal. Even in the Marriott / Regency Hotel world of hotels in Aruba, not to speak of all the other hotel chains, you'd be smart to pick another place to stay. If money is that tight for vacation, consider the Holiday Inn on Aruba's Palm Beach (it is the opposite end of the High-Rise Strip as The Mill), has a great beach, reasonable room prices with all-inclusive option (sorry but I can't recommend it) and right in the middle of the action.

Not enough help at front desk. Frequently a line. Rooms are not cleaned well. Balcony had sand all over, obviously not swept. Upstairs hallways not cleaned. Ice machine not easy access. Difficult to keep machine open when filling ice bucket. Food was very expensive!!

This resort was bought and turned into a Marriott. The new owner is screwing over all the time share owners who have been coming here for years with their families. He increased the maintenance fee by 50%, started charging more fees, assessed each owner a special assessment of $1000 per unit per week owned, and owners lost their originally purchased rooms to name a few things. Most of the staff here are nice but the food and beverages are overpriced!

My husband and I spent a week at The Mill back in October for our 5th wedding anniversary. The room was lovely and decorated beautifully for our anniversary. We had a view of the pool which is all lit up on an evening. All of the staff were lovely and even lent us some champagne glasses so we could go to the beach with a bottle of wine one evening. We hired a car whilst we were there and could park it easily in the hotel car park. We took the shuttle bus to the beach on the first day but when we realised how close it was, decided to walk it on the other days. The hotel have an employee here who is happy to help. The hotel is close to restaurants, bars, shops etc but in a peaceful area. We visited a restaurant round the corner (mimosas) which does beautiful breakfasts and is affordable - we highly recommend. The pool, jacuzzi and pool bar are amazing, I wish we'd had more time there. Overall, our stay here was brilliant and we can't wait to go back.

The Marriott Courtyard (Mill) resort in Aruba will eventually be a really good option to stay at in Aruba, but there are a few things that still need to be worked out. The property looks very updated and they have done a really good job on making it seem like a quality resort. Rooms, beds, showers and space are all very nice. With the recent takeover by Marriott, I expect there are still changes to come. On day one the room was not ready and when we did get in the floor had not been mopped and was really dirty, but this was resolved on day two and there were no other issues. The food at the pool is at most a 5 out of 10 and they were out of most local beef choices all week. All this being said, they do have several staff members that make it a great experience. Alba, Albert and Nicole are awesome. Great recommendations and conversations with all. We typically stay at the Marriott Stellaris and I am not sure that it is fair to compare the 2 properties, but that being said for not being on the beach, the location is really good and we would probably consider it again for the price and experience. The only other negative is the pool chair situation. There are only 39, yes I counted, lounge chairs at the pool and they are all "claimed" by 7:00 AM. They really need to find a way to make the pool deck space accommodate more people. I look forward to seeing what Marriott can do with this property. There is a lot of potential.

We stayed here after hearing Marriott took over the Mill. You can tell immediately what they have done to revamp this property and what they are planning to do. Hoping by our next trip everything will be complete, but for the overall value, it was worth the stay. Biggest issues I had was not enough pool loungers/furniture, and I'd give the food a 5/10. Again, newly acquired property so it takes time to work the kinks out but overall was good. Shoutout to Albert and Alba (pool bar) for great conversation and recommendations. They made our stay very enjoyable.

Omg this review is so old but I genuinely had such a wonderful time last summer, they've eared me taking my time to let others know that I loved it! I had never been to Aruba before, and to be sincere I was only in the hotel for three days so I never really left the hotel (except for dinner once), so my review is for the hotel only. In general, i think Aruba is underrated, its dry heat, the local people are so wonderful and professional, every single day was sunny and good weather, and what I liked most about The Mill is that it had a smaller feeling of not being overcrowded and not having to make massive lines to eat! Very smart location by the beach, stunning sun sets every night, and really affordable happy hours at the hotel bar. Best summer trip I wont forget.
