The friendliness of the hotel staff is the abiding memory we have of our stay at the Copper and Lumber Store. The Hotel's location in the heart of Nelson's Dockyard is fantastic. We appreciated the warm and friendly welcome from hotel staff who clearly take pride in their establishment. Due to the inconsideration of hotel guests in an adjoining room,... More

I stayed her in October and November 2016 as part of an island hopping Caribbean trip. I was allocated a room in the roof, with loads of space, a mini kitchen and great views to the from and rear of the property. Room and bed was really comfortable, it was lovely and quiet at night and was great to wake... More

We stayed here for one night and absolutely loved everything about it. It was such an interesting property in the lovely Nelson's Dockyard. Everyone there was so friendly. The food was amazing and we didn't want to leave it (even though we were going on to St James's Club for a week!). Whilst we were staying at St James's Club,... More

We stayed in the Copper and Lumber during the Antigua Race Week April 2016...Our boat was moored on the jetty directly outside the hotel, and quite a few of the events took place on the lawn directly in front of the hotel, including the Final Prize Giving. Brilliant! We didn't need to drive anywhere, could walk across to Antigua Yacht... More

I have heard about the Friday Night Fish Night at Copper and Lumber for some time and finally went this week. It is worth the trip from the other side of the island. The food was very good and the portions generous. I had the friend shrimp as an appetizer and the grilled mahi-mahi for dinner (the mahi was especially... More

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful historic location. The suites are gorgeous and contain a small kitchenette which is perfect for travelling with a baby. We could store fruit, drinks and prepare meals there for her. There is no cooker but there is a coffee maker and kettle, crockery and utensils. She did not want hot food in... More

Amazing location in English Harbour and large historical room split on two floors (bedroom upstairs with a seating area downstairs). Accept its an old historic building and doesn't have the latest electrical wiring etc and you'll love it. If you want a chain hotel go elsewhere - this place has character and has romantic charm. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend this... More

Items are priced in EC dollars but I got charged in USD on my credit card. A mistake or was it "accidentally on purpose"? Also an extra charge was slipped into the bill (which bank reversed). Enquired # times via e-mail & telephone call. No courtesy of a replay. This tells me it's a petty fraud scheme. Most people don't... More
