My wife and I have been to St.Lucia LaToc, Grande St. Lucia, and Jamaica Whitehouse (South coast) for a total of 7 tips so far. We were thrilled with all 3 locations, but our trip to Grande Antigua tops them all. From pick up at...More

Big shout out to Shane the Fitness Instructor. He whipped me in shape this week, so I didn't feel too guilty eating the treats from Cafe Paris, plus the amazing lava cake with vanilla ice cream at Marios. His sense of humor and encouragement made...More

I was at this resort last month and it was really busy. However we never had a problem getting into any of the restaurants that we wanted to by just showing up. I think that the time of year that you are going will make a difference as I imagine there will be less people as July is not a popular time for a vacation South. I know that you can reserve at Eleanor's and I was able to make a reservation one day in advance no problem. We had to wait a bit at Barefoot but never more than 15 minutes even when they said it would be half an hour. Mario's is also a good option and we were able to just walk in whenever. Also our favourite breakfast spot. As for excursions you will find lots of guys on the beach walking by every day with several options. We booked with Shorn who is a great guy and very trustworthy. We only did the one excursion which was to Stingray City and it was great. The driver "G" also gave us a tour of Devil's Rock and a few of the other sites. Hope this helps!

Most of the noise during the day is around the main pool. It’s one big speaker, that if you are near it or happen to walk past it, then it’s deafening! The music in the evening is pretty much restricted to outside the drunken duck, and the square at the main bar/bayside. Both of which stop around 10. As for the beach sunbeds, I don’t think you can reserve them, but if you have a butler they can reserve the ones resort side if the little fence by the beach. Or just stick a towel and a book on them like everyone else does at 6am. If it’s busy.
