We had a lovely stay at the Top River Pearl. Good location, quiet and not even 5 minutes from the seafront. Our room with a balcony was bright and pleasant for two, It was equipped for self-catering but we mostly relied on the cooking skills of our hosts Martha and Joel for breakfast and dinner. Lovely food. Our hosts were...

Spent a great time there, great rooms, view and balcony. Got a nice, large & clean apartment with 2 bedrooms for 2 couples for a good cost-benefit ratio. Sometimes the managing lady (Lucille) is out to take some vegetables and fruits from the organic garden for the wonderful breakfast, so then call her on the mobile at 388 3928 (nobody...

We had a reservation confirmed by an email. We tried to call the day before arrival and several times on the day of arrival but got no response. Arrived in Charlotteville to find the property closed. There was a sign with another number to ring by the bar. We rang - no answer. We tried to track down manager by...

We absolutely loved our stay here! Charlotteville itself really is a working fishing village, and Pirates bay is the beach to head to, it's simply divine! It was our first time in the Caribean, and when we stepped onto our balcony on our first morning, we were blown away by the verdant hillside, all intact rain forest, just stunning! We...

More or less by chance I came there in very low season and stayed 3 nights in the small downstairs studio equipped with almost everything one needs (hot water shower and European standard bathroom, which you should not take for granted in guesthouses, and - most important - big mosquito net & a fine mattress & a balcony) for a...

Basic rooms with small kithchen. Nice & clean rooms with wonderfull views to the sea, town and sunsets. The best coffee on the island is served in the cafe - and the food at dinner is very tasty and homecooked! Not to be missed! Frindly atmosphere and possibility to rent bicykles and car.. We really enjoyed our stay - but...

The rooms have fairly basic facilities as people have mentioned but are very clean, the beds are comfortable with mosquito nets provided, the location is lovely, great views over the village and of the amazing sunsets over the harbour from the balcony. It is a very short stroll from the main street and beaches and the locals are very friendly....

Top River Pearl is situated up a road a little way back from the main street. The apartment we had came with a tiny kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom and little balcony. There was no air-con, but the fan meant that it wasn’t needed anyway. The whole place was spotlessly clean and whilst a couple of balcony chairs would be a good...

Great location and nice balcony. However, the manageress (owner's wife) of the property appears to think she is above everyone else and, unfortunately, she ruined our time here so we left early to move to another more local apartment on the bay front (which was fantastic). She also tried to charge us a US$20 fixed fee for wifi usage insisting...
