We spent two weeks in the woodpecker log cabin with the hot tub. When you arrive at Alpine Grove you can see this is a very well maintained park and everything was just as we hoped in the log cabin. The log cabin reminded me a lot of Center Parcs being right in the woods and feeling part of nature.... More

Great campsite, good washroom facilities, swimming pool area excellent and a real suntrap. Nothing too much trouble for friendly owner, decent little shop not overpriced. Beautiful part of the country, Lyme Regis and Seaton both nice seaside towns, worth a visit to Golden Cap along the coast a little way it's a really nice coastal walk. Do be aware that... More

OMG! What an absolute stunning Scandinavian log cabin. So much attention to detail with this place. It had everything and I mean everything. The Shower was amazing. The facilities were amazing. The cabin was lovely and Christmassy and more than we thought. In the middle of the woods our cabin was called Owl. In the morning you woke unto the... More

The park is very well maintained and neat, with pretty woodland surrounding secluded cabins and plenty of... More

This was a lovely pitch and we had a few roaring fires etc. Pros - the kids could roam with relative security, Cons - the non woodland field was packed (probably due to start of summer hols) and a few large groups were a bit noisy and played... Great location, lovely lodge and amazing hosts, we enjoyed every minute and would come back again. Spotlessly clean with everything needed for a relaxing break. Pool was a definite plus and although the weather wasn't great, we managed a few dips!

The cabin was cosy and immaculately presented and set in amongst woodland. The lounge had a log burner and reclining chairs, making it a lovely place to while away the evenings! We took... More
