The staff were very friendly but that is as good as it gets here. The room was probably one of (if not the worst) hotel rooms i have every stayed in. Room 34. It took 10 minutes for the shower to get just warm enough even though it was on the hottest setting. The pressure was non existent. The hot...

Our recent experience was not good we will never return. The room was average, freezing cold, no heating was on after 8 in the evening. Water took ages to run hot. The windows were letting in cold air, baring in mind the outside temp was -1.the only good thing was the restaurant excellent food great choice very friendly staff.

I have visited for a meal and drinks on 3 occasions over a period of 18 months not once has the male toilet door had a lock on it. It is no fun sitting on a toilet seat and a stranger walks in on you. I cant fault the meals as I always enjoy them but due to lack of...

We booked one of the suites and so glad we did. It was a great room for a fantastic price. The only issue was the shower....it took a long time for hot water to come through but it didn't spoil our stay. We'll definitely be back again.

We booked for three nights but were so comfortable that we booked another night. We had room 90, the Richmond suite, which was spacious as was its bathroom. It is over the door to the restaurant so there was a bit of noise from time to time but not enough to bother us. The breakfasts were plentiful with a varied...

Unfortunately didn't enjoy my one night here. The room was very basic and there was a pack of unopened condoms down the side of the bed. Room 24. Also the shower didn't work so had to run a bath in morning. Breakfast was ok though

The motel style rooms were basic . The shaver light didn't work . The beds were ok . The sausage at breakfast looked dire ..i was told that the ' chef' assured me it was cooked . I know that one could find much better value and quality by finding a good B and B.

All staff from my initial check in to housekeeping and restaurant staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The public areas are well decorated and selflessly clean. My room was also spotless and tastefully decorated. Breakfast were excellent and cooked to order rather than buffet style which means they are hot and fresh. Good scrambled egg. I...

Stayed for 1 night whilst I was travelling around Scotland. The rooms were outdated, and didn't seem too welcoming. A few marks on the desk in the room where the kettle is and a light on the wall was missing a light shade. We arrived on a Saturday night and were unlucky to find that there was a wedding on,...
