In summary, my second stay here was great. The family who run the hotel are very friendly, speak English and are very kind and generous. They will go the extra mile to help with any requests.
In these times I think it is important to include the Covid measures in the reviews.
The staff wear masks. The floor is marked with social distancing reminders. There are plenty of hand sanitizer dispensers around. Guests (many of a senior age) wear masks whilst in the communal areas. We were told to keep our room key with us throughout the stay. Breakfast is still a buffet but gloves and hand sanitizer are provided. Tables are distanced. Lunch and dinner are table service with staff wearing masks. At no time did I feel unsafe.
For me the selling points for this hotel are: -
Staff. Cleanliness. Passion for local culture and history. Great value and delicious set lunch and dinner. Good breakfast selection including local honey, nuts & cheese etc. Comfortable room with a/c, hot or cold shower with good pressure. Easy to find with free parking. Convenient for train and bus. Walking distance to some local attractions.
Recommend rooms at rear on higher floors for great views of mountains. We were in 316 which had a large balcony.

From the moment I set foot in your hotel about 13.30 on a recent Sunday lunchtime, I knew I was going to have a lovely time. The hotel looked both pristine, stylish and the staff were friendly and welcoming , We were shown to our rooms and quickly went to the dining room. It was full of local people enjoying themselves with their friends and family. The lunch was simply delicious as were all the meals we had there. We are 4 ladies from England Three of us have Parkinson's and we had come to spend a week at the Parkinson's Therapy Centre, sited some 100 metres down the road ,in the same building as the spa. My single room faced the back of the hotel with a splendid view of the mountains. The sun rose behind the snow capped rugged slopes and I watched from my veranda as the sun appeared behind the mountains. God turned the dimmer switch up so that the light grew stronger and ever more rosy. The Sorriso is a family run hotel , clean and stylish, with delicious food. We were booked in for full board and would not have wanted to eat anywhere else. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. The P's Centre was great too. I think we were offered a special rate at the hotel.

Beautiful family-run hotel, very kind and helpful owners, restaurant offering various dishes and very good, good cleaning, comfortable single room overlooking a terrace with garden and deck chairs. For those arriving by train the hotel is close, from the room I could see it (next to the station there is the bus station, the info point, and a bar that sells bus tickets, train tickets are made on the train) and the spa are two minutes walk. Another exceptional stay at Hotel Sorriso with my sister and our elderly mother. Family run hotel providing exceptional service and superb regional food.
