Having spent a wonderful week at the Bread Oven House last year, we returned this year for the same period. It was as fabulous as we remembered it to be. Giovanna again had two bottles of wine to welcome us, and we loved them both. Giovanna also still had fruit and nuts from her own trees, and a pantry stocked...

Many thanks! Every year we add something new for guests, this year is the game of ping-pong that can be used both outdoors and indoors, we are also making an agreement with a prestigious Spa surroundings ... and other new proposals for activities. See you next year, it will be a pleasure to see you again! Giovanna

My husband and I spent a heavenly week at the Bread Oven House. The setting is truly magical-- we woke up several mornings and were able to see the Alps in the distance. We were lucky enough to visit during the final days of grape harvesting and it was fascinating to see first hand about the importance of wine making...

You have opened the ping pong table in beauty! Days of Harvest are tiring for us and were fascinating for you, interruptions due to rain and the many hours of work that you have seen were important to understand more about us: "the langhetti" (inhabitants of the Langhe). I enjoy reading what you have written on the Cà dra Topia...

We share many of the same positive experiences of Cascina Bricchetto that are mentioned in other reviews. Our time at the" Bread Oven House" was simply delightful. We were two couples traveling together. Time in the Piedmont was to be our "slow travel" week following busy/crowded times in Venice and the Cinque Terre. All of our advance communications with Giovanna...

Giovanna, the hostess and owner of this luxurious and charming holiday house, has so much to offer. Prior to our arrival, Giovanna had sent us several, interesting suggestions of activities in which we could partake to make our stay in this beautiful region a memorable one. She even did some additional research to find a traditional, cultural festival (folk dance...

Difficult was finding the music and traditional dances Occitane the Cuneo valleys, your satisfaction is my reward. We have a fairly wide range of proposals, I am also available to seek / provide the answer to the wishes of the guests (in this case also the "Tiramisu"), last year another special experience was to organize a tour in the old...

My husband and I stayed here for one week, from 22nd Jan to 29th Jan 2016. Giovanna, the landlady, made sure that we'd get the most out of our stay even before we had arrived, by putting together an itinerary for us for our week's stay. We exchanged numerous emails in the weeks leading up to our visit, regarding our...

Dear guests I apologize for not replying earlier ... but I responded immediately to the review of this year. This was our third visit to this amazing wine region in Italy. Cascina Bricchetto has the best location for beautiful views and being away from the crowds if that's what you are in to. It's wonderful to wake up to those views. It's a bit different when driving back at night, on the long and very twisty roads, after enjoying...

Too bad we did not have a chance, by getting to know each other better, to understand each other's expectations. All costs and services are written on the Internet site and in all ads. When the booking is made directly, before booking the customer receives a detailed statement with all costs and services, this agreement is the result of several...

We (two couples) had a lovely stay in Alba. Giovanna made dinner reservations and wine tasting reservations for us prior to our arrival. She is well connected. She also gave us an unforgettable cooking lesson in her own kitchen. Pictures do not do this lovely apartment justice. It is decorated with her family antiques and it is immaculate. It is...

We recently spent a week at this lovely farmhouse on top of a hill completely surrounded by the vineyards of Piedmont. For anyone interested in this unique Italian wine region, Cascina Bricchetto is the ideal place to stay - less than 10 miles from the village of Barbaresco and less than 20 miles from the village of Barola, the Queen...

This holiday house is in a perfect location for exploring the beautiful villages and towns of the Langhe. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Cascina Bricchetto Langhe is in a strategic position at the heart of the Langhe allows in a few miles to reach all the most famous and the most romantic ones, and even the wildest (there are lots of them), enjoying a spectacular view!In the evening the Sun ignites the Monviso and flooding the brightly-colored Alps, you can "soak up" the situation outside sitting comfortably in an armchair or eating ... such as the product of the barbecue, it is equally possible from within the case thanks to the large and numerous windows. The houses, different from one another both structurally and for furniture, offer a luxurious stay and amenities offered have nothing to envy to luxury hotels (5 stars), with the difference that cost the guests much but much less. The Cascina Bricchetto stone built of Langa, is perhaps the oldest in the country, is located at the top of a hill, elevation 600 m, about 10 km from Alba "capitale delle Langhe" and 3 miles from Barbaresco. The renovation that was completed in 2006 has retained the original structures such as "voltini" in brick, were also used natural materials and typical. The houses are in the main building of the farm, completely autonomous and spread over two floors, offer all comforts, from dishwasher to minipimer. The great attention to detail during the renovation, the furniture made from antique furniture to modern pieces by both family, have produced two charming houses that we propose below with pride. The quality certification obtained since 2008 by "Italian hospitality" is the best guarantee for you.Cà der Forn (House of the bread oven): Large living room with fireplace, very well equipped kitchen, two large bedrooms, one shower room, one bathroom, balcony, garden.Cà dra Topia three large double rooms – two of which it is possible to place an additional bed – structured and furnished each differently, three bathrooms, a large living room with fireplace and fully equipped American kitchen and a long balcony await. Our breakfast is rich, offers local products made according to old recipes, appreciated also by Slow Food that we put into the Guide "Locande d’Italia".At guests ' disposal: wireless internet access inside and outside homes, garage, terrace, solarium, barbecue, playground for children, equipped with the agreement of our fruits and vegetables production. ... more   less
