Open all day for meals, non of that 12 till 2pm stuff and a great choice we had followed with good wine and beer. Very friendly staff and you can even customise your meal to your needs. I had a splendid Chicken Parmo Hotshot. And left nothing on the plate.

My parents & I had dinner here last Saturday after we visited the North Yorkshire Moors Railway War Time Event. The food was enjoyable, the service was very good & the Black Sheep Ale was marvellous. Nice place.

Had visited another local pub where we were made to feel uncomfortable when our 2 year old didnt just sit quietly in a corner - completely the opposite at The Eskdale -a very family friendly pub. The food was first class, beer reasonably priced and very good... More

Perfect! Everything was just perfect from the sumptuous bedding to the friendly welcome. Claire and her team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We took our 2 little dogs and they were treated like royalty. Breakfast is quality, local produce and the evening meals are delicious. We will definitely return.

After my first visit I was thrilled at the extensive menu as there were a lot of different people in our group (some of whom were vegetarian and one gluten free) the food was scrumptious and after that...
