Marta and Robert run a truly excellent guesthouse, they are wonderful hosts. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with a big bright en-suite bathroom. The location is very peaceful and quiet beside a little church, with a selection of pubs and Tintern Abbey within a short walking distance. We had dinner which we pre-ordered the day before was this was absolutely top notch. The beef cheek starter was melt-in-mouth as was the venison main. Sadly we had no room for dessert! There was a great selection of drinks and wines on offer and the following morning we left with full bellies after our DEICIOUS brekkie which had homemade potato bread along with the crispiest bacon I've had in years. It's an absolute treat to stay here.

We drove into the car park and stood still for a moment to take in the beautiful views of the River Wye, the abundance of trees and then we turned our attention to Parva Farmhouse a beautiful quaint pretty guest house set in stunning surroundings. We were greeted by Marta who is lovely. We were shown to our room, we had booked the deluxe super king room and we were not disappointed. Super clean, spotless and looked brand new, tasteful furniture in keeping with the look of the place and the bed very very comfortable. Sadly we had only booked one night, but this is a place you definitely want to come back to again and again. Once we had unpacked we wandered down to the garden outside and ordered a Wye Valley gin and tonic (I heartily recommend the gin!) there is a lovely lounge area which is peaceful with a lovely view into the garden. The one thing I noticed about Parva is that it’s very peaceful even with other guests, and that tranquility filters through to the dining area. We had preordered our evening meal. Roger the Chef has some amazing skills in the kitchen and the food was to die for. We ordered starters skate wing and pork belly, both beyond amazing with some of their home made crusty bread, gives you an appetite for the mains which was a whole plaice each. It was the size of the entire plate, cooked to perfection with seasonal veg. The wine list is pretty extensive so if you have a preference I’m sure you will find something you like. We finished with a muscat crème caramel which was utterly delicious. The breakfast was as delicious as the evening meal. Date and banana porridge with toast, strawberries on toasted brioche, then from the kitchen eggs, we had scrambled and poached, the scrambled eggs are creamy and delicious I wish I knew Roger’s secret, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms and potato bread. This really sets you up for the day. All in all a restful relaxing time, hopefully to be repeated soon and stay a few days instead of just one. Marta and Roger work tirelessly to ensure that your stay is perfect they are both lovely and we can’t wait to book with them again. If I could give more than 5stars I would. Unlike any hotel I’ve stayed in this service is utterly personal and the food unique and plentiful. Thank you both so much for making our stay so special.

Had dinner there. It was hubby's birthday. Lovely atmosphere, fresh food, great service. We booked and were asked to choose our food a day before, The restaurant only cooks food to order. This ensures freshness and quality. Th family-run bed and breakfast is set in an idyllic location, overlooking the river Wye. I would recommend this place for a romantic quality meal.

A lovely, and welcoming stone farmhouse converted into a dream of hosts Marta and Roger, and their lucky guests. The room was lovely, the bed and bedding comfortable and cozy, the room spotless, and the setting perfect. Marta and staff were kind and fastidious with, as others remarked, "unpretentious and effortless service." Except it may *look* effortless and inobtrusive, but there is no end of attention to guests' comfort and needs. We visited on the restaurant's days off, but breakfast was fantastic, with everything home made, from regular and gluten-free bread, to cereals and full breakfast with eggs and vegetables. Well done, Marta, Roger, and team (and Loki). Thank you!

We were most impressed by the Parva Farmhouse. It is well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our room suited us perfectly, with a view over the river. We were relieved to find a large fan which we needed on the two warm nights. The bed was very comfy. The breakfasts too did not disappoint, personally prepared by Roger and accommodating all our specific dietary needs. Last, but by no means least, Marta was a friendly, considerate and very welcoming host. We wanted to stay an extra night, and have an evening meal, but sadly (undertandably) Marta was fully booked. We shall return! Highly recommended. Julian and Valerie.

Marta and Roger were the perfect hosts at the Tintern Parva Farmhouse. We were warmly welcomed by Marta and shown to our room which was spotlessly clean. At our request, we had a room on the second floor. Due to the hot weather, we expected to bake but a very quiet tower fan allowed us to have a very comfortable night’s sleep. We chose to spoil ourselves with the Parva breakfast, we were not disappointed. To walk off the calories, we walked to the top of the Square Tower at Goodrich Castle! Looking forward to when we visit again.

We’ve eaten in a lot of fine dining restaurants and this really is exceptional for the area. Welcoming, unpretentious and effortless service coupled with delicious food - makes for a wonderful dining experience and a great evening. Thank you!

We stopped off here en route from South Devon to North Wales to see family. It was a delightful surprise, though quite pricey compared with other B&Bs we have used for the same purpose. The room was on the small side but extremely well equipped and had a beautiful view across the little garden to the river Wye. Dinner, which we booked beforehand, was splendid in every respect: there is limited space for diners and it is evident that the request to order in advance is necessary to achieve this standard of cooking. After checking in we had a restful walk along the riverside and it is clear that there is plenty to explore if you want to walk further. Tintern Abbey and village is also within walking distance. After checking out we enjoyed the Sunday service in the adjacent church, a bonus. There is every possibility that we shall return in the future.

This is the perfect place to stay when you've been exploring the amazing local scenery. It is warm, inviting, comfortable and homely. The rooms are lovely with great amenities. Its in a fantastic location and the owners are really friendly. The food at both breakfast and dinner was of a very high standard. At night, it was peaceful and relaxing and it really surpassed my expectations. I don't often write reviews but this was really so deserving of one. Would highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights in April, after successfully leaving the children with their grandparents. Some lovely walks in the surrounding area which were helped by great accommodation to help the sore feet and tired legs. Finally on the last day, a truly exceptional meal (I have to say my lamb starter was such an explosion of flavour that I nearly asked for a second helping). Well worth a visit, highly recommended.
