Stayed for only one night, good size rooms, well equipped but very warm for me. The air con wasn't great (or I couldn't work it properly-fan was noisy) breakfast was superb and all the staff were very helpful and polite. Will be using again when I visit Durban.

We had a fabulous visit. I took 14 people to visit we had the set lunch and it was excellent, quick and lovely staff. Then a beautiful walk round the stunning gardens with so many orchids and cycads. Can't wait to visit again soon and may be stay the night.

Our party of nine had lunch there last week. Service was slow as the restuarant was very busy. Two of us had the Veal which was terrific, another the steak, and the rest enjoyed pizza! This is a wonderful place for a family to enjoy the outdoors. The gardens are beautiful. The swimming pool area was teaming with youngsters enjoying...

We stayed at the hotel from the 23rd of September until the 25th. Our room was spacious and for once we had a double/king bed that was not two singles pushed together. The patio was a lovely treat which allowed us to have tea early in the morning and before the sunset. The spa is small but the service was...

4 night stay. Beautiful setting: gardens delightful. Bedroom comfortable but bathroom very tired, badly cracked sink, no extraction fan. Bathroom needs to be completely refurbished. Staff very good with notable exception of one waiting staff member who was inexplicably very rude. Good quality of food, especially breakfast.

The communal and conference areas of this hotel are excellent and the staff, in the main, are friendly and efficient - particularly the bar and room staff. The grounds are wonderful and very well maintained. Our suite was spacious, but in need of modernisation, particularly the bathroom which was very tired. The sink in the bathroom had a major crack...

Stayed at this lodge for the third time on business in recent years. The grounds and rooms are relatively unchanged. The gardens were in great condition and the pool area improved since my last trip. Staff couldn't have been more helpful although restaurant food was only average to good. I'd still recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing country stay...

My husband and I had such a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly. The garden is stunning. Loved every moment. The only downside would be the bathroom which does need a revamp. Other than that it was an awesome stay :)
