I had a wonderful stay here in early May 2016. The accommodation is excellent: tastefully and comfortably furnished rooms with wonderful inside and outside areas for dining and relaxing. The hosts offer just the right blend of attentiveness and personal space. I will definitely return.

This business is not functioning properly anymore, if you go on there own site it should show that they are no longer taking bookings. Six of us got there to find that it is no longer fit for function, we had to leave, still trying to get money back.

I loved the "old world" ambiance of the building and rooms. The room is clean, neat and comfortable. Small recommendations: Make the electrical points in the room more accessible and a dustbin in the room (at coffee station) will make life easier.

The guests are your clients and need to be satisfied at all angles. The are some improvements to be done at the accommodation to make guests at ease and relaxed especially when one needs tranquillity.

Place from the outside is an old-ish style.inside is nice and clean rooms are perfect. Staff was very friendly and assisted us at all times. The Nichols family loved them to bits. Breakfast was good at all times. The area is nice and quite If you are not a dog friendly person that place won't work for you.

The property is nestled within very lush and beautiful KZN vegitation, on the edge of the beautiful valley of a thousand hills. Rooms are spacious and beautiful. It is just a pity that we did not have time to enjoy the property because we were attending a wedding.

What a lovely place conveniently located on the hills outside Durban. The hosts are fantastic people and the dinners are great. A good breakfast and comfortable rooms all at a very good price. Definitely my go to place when in Durban.

Villa Brae is located in a very secluded area, surrounded by trees and shrubs, the house is an old character house, large rooms, high ceilings and a wide spiral staircase as a centre piece as you enter the house. The hosts Rod and Karen were helpful and attentive to any of our needs, the room was large with all you...

I've only spent one night here. It will unfortunately not make it to the top of my list as it is perhaps not entirely to my taste. I have to be upfront from the start and make it clear that I am not a dog person and this obviously influences my review significantly. If your an animal (specifically dog lover)...
