Very central location. The streets are narrow and during nights silent. There is a lift, but stair to the front door. Acceptable cooking facilities thus during time when all restaurants are closed on could need some more.

They are going to great efforts to protect guests from Covid. Rooms are impeccably cleaned daily. Maria takes pride in her hospitality. WiFi works great. Good kitchen facilities. Reasonable prices. High recommend.

In the priode between january and march 2020 I stayed in this place. I can say that I was home, far from my house. The living room and bedroom were spacious and very clean. The cleaningteam was there everyday to make it possible. The kitchen, for people who like cooking like me, was perfect. Maria, and Maria, Makis and Aspa were for me like a family. We had small and great interesting conversations. So do not hesitate to book. They will take care of you. Just one more: It is near the Champs Elysées of the city. Thanks for everything

I’ve visited Lesvos/Midilli four times in the past three years, so I thought I had a pretty good idea what to expect at Heliotrope The Studios. I was unprepared though for the incredibly positive experience I’ve had. The rooms (apartments) are huge, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The neighborhood is quite convenient and full of character. Any place you’d want to go in town is a short walk away, and so forth. But what really sets this place apart is the customer service and the attitude of the staff. I made several requests that they could easily have rejected, but somehow they found ways to accommodate. It was aided I’m sure by the fact that it is off-season, but lesser facilities would not have tried nearly so hard to help me out. I really felt like a guest and not a customer. It was the kind of service you’d expect (but only infrequently receive) from a much more expensive and luxurious facility. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. …

The Place Is fine but Can Be that you get a Room from where you Can hear the dogs from the next house that are kept in horrible condition crying and barking All the night long. One of them Is dying by stavation and a painful evident desease and Is chained probably since years. I could not sleep. To keep dogs that way Is against the greek law by the way, but the greeks around Just ignote the situation.

Very clean, great facilities, super friendly staff and in a great location! We stayed in B1, delux apartment, for 6 nights in June and were delighted with everything. The apartment was immaculately clean, good air con and wifi and the kitchenette was great with a full size fridge and washing machine. B1 Delux Apartment was superb with a double bed and sofa bed which can be divided by sliding doors for privacy. I really cannot fault anything at all and would definitely return and recommend.

I have been there several times now and always got another room - I was never disappointed! The rooms are very clean and well equipped, the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s only a few steps to the center. You get good value for your money! I will definitely choose Heliotrope again!

The hotel is an affordable option mere minutes up a small slope from town centre. We stayed in a family room which is comfortable and clean, and comes with an attached kitchen. There is a coffee capsule machine in the room, and bottled water in the fridge. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom, a god-send for my family of 4 on the road. Wi-Fi is reliable and my family loves the olive-oil based toiletries they provided. The room is however is little plain, dim and tight due to its configuration, but it works fine. Maria, who runs the place, is helpful and helped us expedite the cleaning of our room because we arrived early, and helped us bring up our luggages. She also gave us advice on where to go, even helped us book a car to drive around the island. The hotel doesn’t provide breakfast, but there is a supermarket literally next door and a good confectionary store just a couple of minutes away.…

Friendly staff. Clean room. Good wifi. Good shower. Good value. Bad parking situation. Don;t even think about taking a car here. There are only 2 parking spaces. And if one needs to get out that is in first, the other has to move, so you need to know who has the other car and be able to get ahold of them. This can be problematic if you need to get car out early in morning or if you want to go on a drive periodically. Our place had a small deck and washing machine. A dog barked constantly - I mean all night and all day starting very early...very annoying. We are pet lovers, but this dog needs to be trained by owner. Bed was fine.

This place is a treasure, and it is not an exaggeration to say that the fact that we stayed here made our entire trip on Lesvos into the incredible experience that it was. First, the basics - the rooms are small apartments. We had our own kitchen and washing machine, which helped save money big time (though the island is generally not too expensive). We had two balconies, air conditioning; the rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day. However, even more important was the staff itself. You have never met more kind, friendly, welcoming and helpful hotel staff before in your life. From the very first moment until the last, you would've sworn that we were like old friends. They welcomed us warmly, treated us to a breakfast snack after our trip, and then began to give us recommendations for where to go and what to see - recommendations that never ended. We would never have been able to find so many interesting and hidden treasures on the island without the, literally, expert guidance of the staff at Heliotrope Studios. Honestly, I cannot recommend this property enough. The price was excellent - we paid less and got way more. If we ever make it back to Lesvos, I doubt we will even look at Trip Advisor or anywhere else. Why would you stay somewhere else when staying at Heliotrope Studios feels just like staying at your own house with good friends?…
