    Good breakfast and friendly helpful staff. The bedroom was clean although smaller than expected. The 1863 is ideally located to explore Pooley Bridge and the Lake is a short easy walk from the property.

    Currently all our rooms have large showers but we have 2 new rooms due to open in August that will have baths and showers.
