What a fantastic old traditional inn, which serves great food and ales. Unfortunately we have never stayed over at the inn, due to us being campers!! But we have visited it many, many times past and present. Only last month for my birthday, we(30+) of my family and friends spent the afternoon drinking and dining there!! A huge thank you...

Just back from a fabulous weekend in our favourite place in the world -Pooley Bridge. We camp in the summer and treat ourselves to a few weekends in the Pooley Bridge Inn in between when it's too cold to camp. We know what to expect so the old fashioned feel to the place is no surprise and suits the location...

Just called in for a quick bite to eat, whilst visiting Pooley Bridge... The BEST hot roast beef sandwich we have had. Presented well with tortilla chips and a lovely salad. Served quickly by pleasant staff. Pity we were only passing through, as would have licked to have sampled more of their lovely food. Highly recommend , and we would...

Stayed in Pooley Bridge to walk Helvellyn and Bow Fell and chose the Inn for our evening meal on the first night. The food was gorgeous, well presented and very tasty. The staff were helpful and courteous. We were so impressed that we returned the following evening to sample the menu a little more!

Very friendly and helpful staff, food excellent (one of best breakfasts ever). Unfortunately the owners, Robinsons Brewers, desperately need to spend money on refurbishment as many areas look pretty shabby. The smallest en-suite in any hotel I have ever stayed in.

I was visiting my Lakes relatives and my cousin suggested a drive around plus a special lunch as we hadn't seen each other for a while. We stopped at the Inn as she has memories of her eldest daughter working there and doing a weekend drive to pick her up. On arrival we went into the main bar; there were...

We stopped here on our way up to Scotland to grab some lunch. The pub is lovely with a lovely outside BBQ area. The food was lovely and the atmosphere so relaxing that it was a couple of hours before we realised we should get back on the road! This pub is only 5 mins off the motorway and much...
