    Back in December 2012 me my other half decided to have a spontaneous few days away camping, we arrived here for a pint around 4-5 in the afternoon for a pint before heading to set up, lovely atmosphere and the staff are awesome! Big thumbs...More

    Lovely, homely pub. Stopped for two nights and found this the perfect base to explore the lakes. Lovely staff added to the friendly feel and the breakfasts were amazing. Rooms basic but welcoming and always warm. Planning our next visit in the summer.

    Had a great first stay here. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Staff are very welcoming & the dog was made welcome too & we were able to take him into the eating area with us. The food was excellent, especially the cooked...More

    What an excellent place. From checking in to checking out service was amazing! Owners are so friendly and warm food is first class room was definattely 5 star as was rest of the Inn. All staff were friendly and so welcoming......can't wait to go back...More

    Just back from 2nd visit and can't wait to go again. Visited with our 4 year old daughter and Staffy pup Dave. Everything from rooms to location is superb, food is top class, especially porridge. Staff are lovely and you are assured of a warm...More
