We have visited pooley bridge for the last 4 years but have only so far eaten in the pooley bridge inn, which was always delicious so as we had a 7 month old pup and knowing it was dog friendly we decided to stay this time. On arrival Room was clean and tidy with balcony facing the village which was...

We chose this popular Inn as I have stayed here many times as a child and decided to revisit during our week off work. We arrived at the Inn on 3rd March and were greeted on arrival whilst also being allowed to check in early which was great. Room was nice and warm and relatively tidy although TV would not...

We took two family rooms - plenty of space, comfortable beds, good en-suites and a great nights sleep. Excellent and friendly service both as a hotel and as a pub in the evening - wonderful food, atmosphere and beer. Our second visit and certainly not our last. Thoroughly recommended!

We arrived for a meal last night to celebrate our Dad's retirement while we were staying in Pooley Bridge. The pub was nice, the food was lovely but what really makes this place stand out is the staff. They couldn't do enough for you, they were attentive, they took time to have a chat with you - they really were...

After looking for a dog friendly pub on a Sunday evening we were lucky enough to stumble accross the pooley bridge inn. After a long wet walk we ordered the roast dinner which was just what the doctor ordered and as a ex chef I knew the dangers of ordering a roast at 6:30pm on a Sunday!!! However the meal...

We have just returned from a one night stay here. From the friendly welcome as we checked in till the fond farewells as we left, we couldn't fault this place. We had a family room(room 1) with a balcony. The room was spotless with plenty of fluffy towels and a very well stocked tea and coffee tray. We ate our...

We were staying in watermillock so the journey down the road to Pooley Bridge was a short one. We chose the Pooley Bridge Inn for our evening meal on its looks compared to the other pubs on offer in the village. It was a large pub and staff were friendly. Meal choices were good and prices were on average about...

Lovely, homely pub. Stopped for two nights and found this the perfect base to explore the lakes. Lovely staff added to the friendly feel and the breakfasts were amazing. Rooms basic but welcoming and always warm. Planning our next visit in the summer.

Had a great first stay here. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. Staff are very welcoming & the dog was made welcome too & we were able to take him into the eating area with us. The food was excellent, especially the cooked breakfast.
