We came to Bristol for a family wedding, and rather nervously booked into a B&B. Having only stayed in luxury hotels or resorts for many years we weren't sure what to expect. The Post House is a luxury guest house, with all the personal touches you don't get from a hotel, - including a comfortable bed! It has real charm...

Myself, my 17 month old son and my mother and sister all stayed at The Post House on the August bank holiday weekend for 2 nights. My son and I slept in the Old Bakery (self catering) and my mother and sister stayed in the White Suite. As others have said on previous reviews, it is the little touches that...

We had a 2 night stay B&B in the suite, it was ideal, beautifully renovated, comfortable beds and wonderful personal touches. To have the extra room in a B&B is a rarity, after a long drive down it was ideal to relax with a drink and watch TV in our own lounge, with spacious bathroom and bedroom we felt very...

This B&B is so amazing that I really don't want to write this review because it is so special, i want for it to stay a secret.... Karen is a wonderful host and the B&B is beautiful. We stayed in the blue room which was just perfect and had a lovely square bath. Everything we needed including hairdryer, toiletries, wifi...

I selected this B&B from the internet and you don't always know what it will be like when you stay however, it was everything it said on the website and more. We stayed in the Suite and it was absolutely wonderful - lovely spacious rooms and plenty of storage. The little touches like the fresh milk and home made biscuits...

My husband booked the cottage via booking.com when friends aranged the yearly meet up in Piddy. We arrived earlier than antipated due to clear roads, before the 4 pm check in, a phone call to Karen to let her know and her welcome ethos began our 2 night stay. We were greated with a welcoming cottage; clean, French chic housing...

Perfect place for our romantic night away. The Suite was gorgeous, spacious and so nice to have our own lounge to relax in and enjoy our time. Friendly welcome, we felt comfortable and relaxed straight away.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. We recieved second to none service from B&B owner Karen. Home cooked food from fresh local produce in the form of fresh fruit and full English cooked breakfast to start in the mornings. The settings are romantic, relaxed and calming in the style of a french shabby chic and also very clean and...

The Old Bakery is the perfect romantic getaway. Karen was so welcoming and the restoration of the Old Bakery is just perfect, we loved the style and attention to detail. The courtyard felt so Mediterranean even on a dull day. Perfect location for visiting Wells or Bath. Would recommend without hesitation , far nicer than a hotel for half the...

Its position on a main road belies the peacefulness of this gem. The conversion from an old post office and bakery to a warm and friendly home has been done to perfection - the soft lime plastering is mellow before it starts. Mellow too are the host and hostess - this is home from home. Ideal for walking in the...

“If you don't mind low headroom the blue room is very cosy or there is a self contained sweet that is very spacious which can be self catering. But I would be happy with any room.”
