Let me summarise things for easy understanding

Infrastructure: well maintained rooms and garden area. This is the plus for this property.

Restaurant: The overall experience fell short of expectations, with noticeable scope for improvement. The restaurant service was below par, particularly during the buffet breakfast, which was slow and inefficient. The orange juice served was excessively diluted, impacting the quality of the meal. Given the pricing and the brand’s reputation, this level of service is disappointing and needs significant enhancement.

Service : The service was average, with several areas needing improvement. We had booked three rooms, and one of them lacked tea cups. For another room, despite repeated follow-ups since morning, water and tea sachets were only provided in the evening. Additionally, the exhaust fan in one room was not functioning.

Basic amenities were also missing—no toiletries such as shampoo or dental kits were provided, which is unexpected at this price point. These shortcomings detract from the overall experience and need to be addressed.

The road to beach is filled with stones and dumped broken bricks one of my relative got injured while walking.

Overall a nicely built property but for the price they are being sold service is the major concern.

We decided to select Tranquil at the very last moment, however it was an excellent experience for all our family members, and we extended our stay as well. The rooms are spacious with different ambience ( Pine wood cottages ) which is difficult to get here in India and there were with all the required amenities and toiletries. The garden around cottages is lush green and adds value to cottages.
Vegetarian Buffet breakfast was excellent – especially Upma, Amboli and Masala Chai to mention. We tried Thali and al la cart Punjabi as well, which was also good. Despite heavy rain staff were courteous and making efforts to keep guests happy. We will visit again during the winter to experience better weather.

Hi, here's my review of Tranquil Beach resort at Harihareshwar.
I will start with the location of the property which is bang on Harihareshwar beach, surrounded by coconut and beetle nut trees. Due to its location, you practically have the beach to yourself like a private one and it's only a km away from Lord Shiva temple.
The resort consists of wooden cottages with different categories like presidential chalets, executive chalets, deluxe chalets and family chalets. I travelled with my family along with my friend and his family and we had booked an executive and a deluxe chalet. Both are the same in terms of room size and the amenities in it, what is different is their proximity from the beach. Since the property isn't very big it doesn't matter which one you book, we got the executive one as a free upgrade. Btw we booked the rooms directly instead of booking through an app, got a better deal.
Now coming to the chalets/rooms, they are very spacious with a balcony and all are equipped with an a/c, refrigerator and an LCD screen. The rooms are made up of wood entirely except the floor. The only issue we had was that our bathrooms fittings had loosened and needed some repairs and on complaining, the issue was taken care of.
Now coming to the food and service of the resort. Though they don't have a variety the available food items should suit everyone's liking. The best part was the service provided by the restaurant staff especially Mr, Mahendra Singh, the restaurant manager. He took care of our every demand along with improvising when required.
We got the best service one could expect with a smile and politeness.
We travelled by car from Navi Mumbai and took the route passing Roha where the route is scenic and roads are better.
Thank you Tranquil resort team

hi, i travelled to this property with my infant (1.6)toddler(5) and my father who is 65 years old. i faced a lot of harrasment as from 4 o clock in the evening i kept telling them the ac was not working. they kept giving excuses till 8.45 when a technician came. at 9.30 they informed that this ac is not working the other room which is available is also showing a tempereture of 28 but if u want we will shift there. or we can give u other rooms at an extra 5k cost with proper working ac. the whole night we would not sleep for a minute. i called the manager and staff and they were least bothered. u will c in the video. its only when i threatened them to post review and wanted the money back for next day booking. as we had all got sick 30 degree tempereture with no air circulation in the room. then they gave us a different room next day at 11.30 and complimentary lunch. so guys please decide for yourself if u all would like to visit a property and spoil your vacation.

We had booked a cottage, paid as much as we did for our stay in Taj Mumbai per night.

The cottage has seen better days. It was a log hut. The bathroom walls had plastic covers to prevent water falling on the wood. Makes it look very run down. We had a large friendly spider for company (luckily we saw it when we were asked to check out)

The location is good but not worth the money we paid.

The food was ok not the authentic Konkani fare we were used to in other locations.

My biggest grouse was the check out process. During checkin I had specifically requested for a late checkout (12 noon instead of the 10:00 am). I was informed they will tell me by 9 am if the late checkout was possible. I got a call from them reception at 10:30 am to vacate immediately. I requested for an hour to pack and leave, but after their negative response we left within 15 minutes.

I was on a 15 day road trip, I had paid a huge premium for this place and I did not get the value for the amount spent.

Oh my God! We stayed in Tranquil for 2 nights and 3 days and I must say it was too less for the kind of experience, hospitality, love and care that was provided to us by the kind support and staff of this place !! The rooms were very very close to nature with self sufficient cottages facing the beach, bringing us closer to nature and providing the much required break from hustle and bustle of life!
We were very skeptical about the food after reading reviews and decided to carry semi cooked food for my son however the food at restaurant was mind blowing and we were provided with food items that were not even a part of their menu just on my son’s request!
The room and bed was very comfortable and the staff were well trained and knew how to delight the guests by never say no attitude and always smiling faces!
We absolutely felt at home thanks to staff members including Mishra Jee, Asrar, Prathmesh and Vijay. Apologies we don’t know the name of the chef as he was doing a fantastic job in the background but a must mention for his culinary skills that kept us asking for more and more food!!
We have promised each other to visit this place every two quarters and will continue expecting such great hospitality and feel at home experience.
Thank You Tranquil and staff for a memorable holiday!! C you soon❤️

Recently came back from our weekend trip to harihareshwar. The resort is just perfect. It is located right on the beach and is completely private. We were 3 adults and stayed in the presidential chalet. It was very comfortable. The room was neat and the bedding clean and comfortable. The property is small but pleasant. Because it's maintained so well didn't have any mosquitoes. It perfectly echoes the vibe of the place. The food was basic and good. Although a bit on the oily side for me. The staff was very kind and helpful. They work silently and efficiently. Special mention to amol and swapnil. Some tuning in our food requirements were respected. Just a request to have wifi in all rooms as signal connection is very bad. The beach is absolutely beautiful. A 10 minutes walk takes you to kal bhairav temple and ganesh gully. A must I say that everyone should experience.

The location was perfect, but it did not have a sea view; you have to walk 100 meters to the beach. However, staying near such a beautiful beach was quite thrilling. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The property could improve by maintaining and adding more activities for better engagement. Overall, it was worth it.

Everything other than location is bad currently and same was experience of other guests. Resort is in bad shape. (stayed in Nov-2021).
1. Play area had missing materials. And those available were either damaged or rusted.
2. Shack area had around 10 lounge chairs but only 2 had covers and that too torn. All chairs were rusted.
3. Garden area maintenance was lacking
4. Restaurant had limited menu. AC water was leaking near tables and staff had to keep buckets for it. Dead insects all over floor.
5. Restaurant staff strength was less and most are trainees or not from hospitality industry. They were too confused when tables were full and service was lacking at resort for level claimed on website as luxury resort.
6. There were four bicycles, but only 1 in proper condition.
7. Normal bottles filled with water were provided at room instead of sealed mineral water bottles.

Forget luxury, it is not even in state of normal resort now.

Avoid this.
If you are looking for beach holiday at Harihareshwar then book homestay near beach and go to Kutumbe's or Ashokvan restuarant (For Veg) and Swayam (For Non-Veg)

I stayed with my family and inlaws for 2 nights. Its really the number 1 property in the area. Everything is well planned. Beach is right by the hotel. Rooms are clean spacious. The food is very tasty and reasonable. Daytime we had lunch in shack. They had special bonfire for us for the two nights and we had dinner by the fire. Personal attention to details is given there. We had been there on weekdays and not much crowd was there but still they made it a point to serve different kinds of breakfast for us. I will definitely go there again.
