10 of us all family called in from Lulworth Cove. Greeted warmly by gentleman, very accomadating. All had a mixture of Sandwiches, jacket potatoes, & light bite fish & chips which was a very good portion. The men said the beer was good too.Would recommended

One of the only places to serve food on Monday evening at 9pm and out of season! Pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. Cosy and nicely lit. We had cheesy chips, chips and fried Brie. Really nice. The chips were particularly yummy and served with very nice bread. Reasonably priced. A lovely lady served us. Thank you. Little bites...

Visited for Christmas meal, service was nice, but it was the average food choice, and overall quality that was just average. Local made butchers burgers, over cooked in too higha heat=beef flavoured crisp! Yes, believe. Red Lion you need to go back to basics, get them right then create a diverse menu. In meantime you're too expensive for tasteless food.

We went here as the pub we had booked in, cancelled on the morning due to unforeseen problems. We were unsure what to expect due to such a late booking and we could not have been happier. We were made very welcome, the room was clean and comfortable and the food and service very good. We will definitely make it...

Stayed one night...Bedroom very nicely appointed, clean and comfy. The showerhead needed cleaning as it only sprayed out of a few holes. Breakfast had a complete English breakfast option. (Being fussy) the bacon was overcooked but it depends how you like it. The landlord was very welcoming and did all he could to make our stay pleasant

We all had the Sunday carvery. Lovely lady serving, very friendly. Meats were delicious, turkey was moist and not dry. Nice vegetables, particularly the roast potatoes. For £9.95 each this was excellent value

The ONLY thing I could possibly fault was that our room was over the bar and was quite noisy. Everything else was very good, lovely comfortable bed, good sized room. Our evening meal was superb and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our breakfast this morning was really good can't fault anything about the place really apart from the noise...

My husband and I popped in for lunch on our way back from Weymouth. The lady that served us was lovely and attentive. The food arrived on time and it was lovely with good portions.
